We waited two weeks to get our hot water heater fixed and after being as patient as possible the tech told my warranty company, that was covering the job, they were to busy to do it and to find someone else. So after two weeks they throw me under the bus and now I have to wait even longer to get it fixed or replaced, and the process is starting all over. If Select Plumbing does not like working with warranty companies they should not be signing agreements to do so. This is beyond unprofessional, and it shows you don't care about your customers just your profit margin. Thank you for leaving me high and dry like that, I will make sure to never use you or recommend your company in the future. This job was assigned and started Nov 2nd, it is Nov 16th now. For a family a six it is hard to be without a hot water heater. I wish people cared more, but your company shows they really don't care.

Called them out on a Wednesday for a gas leak. They showed up about two hours after we were quoted, looked around for ten minutes and said they would have to come back on Thursday morning. Our gas is shut off because of the leak.

No call, no show all day Thursday. We've called three times and got the run-around each time. Our gas is still off.

I was referred to select plumbing from my home warranty company I had a gas leak underneath my house the text that came out here said I don't have access point and can you find out I do on the side of my house the man did not look nor did he want to do any work they are sorry company poor customer service the lady said she would work with me if I said to do private pay and they were supposed to come out the next day to start Diggin well I'm glad they didn't come out. They called me yesterday morning I missed a phone call from them I called them back they kept answering my phone call to voicemail I waited about two hours and called them back the lady answered the phone and I explained to her that I missed a phone call she Thomas she didn't call when I was a missed phone call on my phone and that's OK so one of the plumbers coming out she said well I don't know I'll get back with you and never dead but I don't want them working on anything and I'm gonna turn them in again they sorry the technicians don't want to work and I think the owners should get better workers for people that actually want to work. They are not honest company but in meantime I found the honest plumber that's fixing my gas leak I explained to him with the people at select plumbing said and he said they didn't want to know work as it exactly

I would not recommend Select Plumbing to anyone wanting their repairs done in a timely manner. American Home Shield (AHS) sent them out to fix my garbage disposal. The initial visit was on 16 May, it only took them a month and two days to get it fixed. This was after I called AHS every other day with different excuses and "We'll get their tomorrow" at every call. The plumber finally showed up today, took 20 min to fix the issue. I had to wait a month for 20 minutes of work. I am so not a happy camper but at least I have a functioning garbage disposal at long last.

I was referred to Select Plumbing through my home warranty service, American Home Shield (terrible service - I will never renew). Plumber appeared at first to be good enough, but he ignored the suggestion that I had offered that a gasket/seal was missing from my kitchen sink drain. He tried to tighten the fixture, but it still leaked. In the meantime, my wife noticed what seemed to be a leak under the disposal. When he returned to fix the drain (which turned out was missing the washer/gasket I had thought was the problem), he examined the disposal and tried to tighten it up and declared it fixed. It wasn't. My wife put a tupperware container under to catch dripping water. I called, and he said he would return on Monday. No sign of him Monday until I called AHS, and they sent out a recall notice to him. He finally called to return at 7pm. He still couldn't diagnose or fix other problems that we're having. I would never have him come into my home again for any problem whatsoever. Poor craftsmanship and professionalism.

These guys have been working on my Father's Water Heater for 30days it's still not fixed and now they have been looking for a Water Heater to replace it with for 5 days

The only reason I am giving them 1 star is because I have to. We called our home warranty company due to our kids shower not working properly and had a work order in for over a week due to our shower not working. We had a technician to out on a Thursday to take a look, said he'll get the part com out Friday. I took the day off and waited, nobody showed up. Now next week is my daughter's Spring Break and we had plans for prom shopping and activities with our 3 kids. I call Monday morning to see what the deal is and was told he'll be out today, waited around no show called again he told us he'll be out tomorrow morning (Tuesday). Once again we wait around all day he finally shows up after 3 PM, said problem fixed. Well that night my daughter gets in shower and yells out in pain, the shower will only go freezing cold to scolding hot and it burnt her. We call the guy Wednesday am and he tells us he knows what the problem is and he'll be out tomorrow. Thursday waited around all day and again a no show no call so we call our home warranty place they called the company and they lied saying the spoke with us and made an appointment for Friday morning at this point we just want this done. Friday rolls around nothing. My husband calls the office to see what is going on and the technician has been gone on a kotormotor trip. They apologize and tell us they'll have someone out first thing in the morning on Saturday. It is now Saturday, we canceled our Barrel race and waited. It's almost 11 so my husband calls and they tell us were horrible customers. Were horrible for wasting an entire spring break with our kids, lost pay due to staying home from work waiting around and still have no shower. As I am typing this, my husband pulls up Yelp and there are reviews stating they had same problem down to the owner telling another customer to F off. Horrible!!

My water heater broke and I thought I was gonna have to replace it! After calling Select they came out to take a look and told me the heating elements had gone bad. saved me from buying a new water heater!

Our septic tank lateral lines were completely clogged and the tank full of solids, so they pumped the tank and jetted the lines which fully restored functionality. I was worried we'd have to have new lateral lines put in, but the jetting was all that was required. They also installed a clean-out port so if it happens again, they won't have to dig down to get to the pipes. All at a reasonable cost.

We had a septic tank problem and called American Home Shield for urgent service as our septic tank was overflowing across our property.

American Home Shield dispatched Select Plumbing Solutions and or Services and a plumber named Brandon showed up and claimed that our septic tank water pump wasn't working and said that the only way to repair it would be to replace the pump.

They left us hanging for about three weeks claiming further that they had ordered the pump. (lies)

When Brandon finally showed up to install the pump he arrived unannounced and installed the pump and then he attempted to install the electrics of the pump. He cut the electrical plug off of the new pump which has now voided the warranty on the pump, and he then further attempted to wire up the pump and couldn't get this right either and claimed that he was not able to complete the job because he is not an electrician and that he doesn't touch wiring. (Why try installing the wiring then?)

I then asked how it was that he intended to remedy the problem of not being an electrician seeing as though this was not his job. His reply was that he would call American Home Shield on 02/01/2018 and have them send out an electrician.

On 02/02/2018 I called Select plumbing on 903-271-8509 and spoke with "Tom" and described the situation and that I was wanting to find out if Brandon had called American Home Shield to arrange an electrician. "Tom" responded that he was on the phone with Brandon and that Brandon assured him that he had called American home shield on the evening of 02/01/2018 and that they had dispatched an electrician. (lie)

"Tom" then told me to check with American Home Shield

I then called American Home Shield to check up and they did not have any record of an vendor or Brandon ever calling to request an electrician.

American Home Shield then wanted me to pay another fee for an electrician at which point I became extremely frustrated and objected to being charged again and especially since I had been lied to.

They then dispatched an electrician and said that they would waive the call out fee / surcharge.

I then thought I would call "Tom" Thomas Sledge the owner of Select Plumbing Solutions to inform him that Brandon had not contacted American Home Shield to arrange an electrician.

While on the phone I confronted "Tom" and said that I had spoken to American Home Shield and that they had checked and no vendor had called them regarding having an electrician sent out to complete Brandon's work.

"Tom" then said, "Brandon did call American Home Shield."

My response to "Tom" was "if Brandon had called, there would be a record of his call and there would definitely be a record of another vendor being dispatched to a customer. The bottom line is that I don't appreciate being lied to."

I tried to finish what I was saying and "Tom" kept interrupting and at this point I mentioned to him that he should wait until I was finished speaking, when he interrupted me again and "Tom" then raised his voice yelling at me, "FUCK OFF AND GET THE FUCK OFF MY LINE YOU IGNORANT ASSHOLE."

"Tom" then hung up on me without allowing me to respond.

I promptly called American Home Shield and reported the vendor and his colourful language.

I recommended that they strike the vendor from their list of vendors.

If you happen to be unfortunate enough to contract with Select Plumbing Solutions and Thomas "Tom" Sledge and Brandon then I recommend seeking an alternative service provider who actually respects the people who pay him for the work he does.
