First of all I would like to say that Steven, the plumber was excellent, I could not be more happy with his service. However... The telephone staff there is horrible, they lie to you about when they're going to show up Yeah keep getting work orders wrong...three times... I really mean that, three times they promised to show up and didn't even call or show up at all!!! All in all over three days I spent over 12 hours waiting for plumbers to show up and no one ever did. No one or ever even had the courtesy to call me! Each Time I tried to call the company to find out what was going on no one even answered the phone... Not even an answering machine! When I finally did reach somebody, I was so upset I told her to cancel and not to show up, and I would never use them again. But Steven showed a few hours later unexpectedly and he did terrific job.

This company is a joke they sent this company thru home warranty and the guy comes the first time and said didn't have part so the come the next day with part but that wasn't the problem so he said he would come Monday after 4 he never came so called and saying I need to call home warranty again so they can complete the order duhfuck smh

Kevin showed right at the beginning of our 3 hr window, with a 30 minute call prior to arriving. He was friendly and efficient, found the problem within 10 minutes - had it fixed in another 20. We've had bad plumbers through the landlords property management company - this company was by far one of the best plumber's sent out! Would definitely request again.

Im hoping the second company my home warranty people send out are better than this company. Tech came out to look at garbage disposal. I showed him where the housing unit was cracked and leaking. He never turned on unit, took 2 pictures of unit and left. 1 week later I call to see about repair. Im told they preformed a clean out and removed a spoon from disposal.no mention of crack/leak. Home warranty stands by their report. Now we wait, Im not encouraged as I checked reviews of new company, not much better than this one.

Hired this company through our home owner's insurance which can be nerve wrecking not knowing what you're going to get. Our plumber was so nice, friendly and had no complaints about my annoying barking dogs! Fast and quality service. Our appointment time was between 9am and 12pm and he called at about 10am that he would arrive in 20-30mins and he showed up just on time. Eric J was SO AWESOME and he even went out of his way to fix my dumb soap dispenser. When I tried to refill it myself I unscrewed it incorrectly and nearly broke it. He not only FIXED my screwing mistake BUT he kindly refilled the dispenser for me - such a gentleman! I will definitely be calling Second Opinion Plumbing again and will do my best to make sure Eric J helps us out again! :)

Armando came yesterday to check into a leak from the toilet. He was courteous enough and took a look and said the flange needs to be repaired. He called my home warranty company to obtain authorization, which was granted. Armando advised me that his office would contact me tomorrow morning (this morning) to schedule the repair. He also mentioned that he thought I had tile/floor/ceiling damage and might want to get it looked at by a restoration company. He promptly ( a bit too eagerly) recommended ERX restoration and proceeded to hand me a business card from them. (I subsequently had a contractor friend come look and he didn't think there was enough damage to tiling to warrant repairs). Later in the afternoon I received a call from ERX mentioning that Armando had tipped them off that I needed work done and they wanted to come give a quote (already extremely unprofessional from both companies). They said they would come between 4 and 6 yesterday afternoon. Never showed and never called. (Maybe they sensed I wasn't interested in working with them. Now I certainly am not)! Anyway, I called Second Opinion back this morning to find out when they are coming to repair. They responded that they couldn't fix it until the tiling was repaired, and again immediately suggested their buddies at ERX- a bit too eagerly.
Armando made no mention yesterday that he wouldn't be able to do the toilet-he obtained authorization and told me they would call me today to schedule! When I inquired, the girl on the phone said she didn't know why Armando had said that, but they can't bolt down the toilet on that floor. I explained to her that Armando had already bolted it down yesterday before he left, so obviously it could be bolted! When I told her that I was very disappointed in the way they were handling this case, she proceeded to tell me, ""Have a nice day, sir."" And promptly hung up on me. Quite disappointing. If this company wants to figure out how t make this right, I invite them to. Otherwise, the above story speak for itself. Dishonesty and lying and double talk and discourteous hanging up on a customer won't be tolerated.

This company doesn't deserve one star! They are terrible!! My warranty company called this second rate company to service a leaking refrigerator shut off valve.
1. They told the warranty company that the valve did not fail due to noremal wear and tear. They also told the warranty company that it showed signs of damage. Not true! I have the valve and the opinion of another plumbing company that states the valve (which is 28 years old) is simply faulty. They succeeded in convincing the warranty company no tto do the repair. This is a tactic used by service providers to get you to pay a higher price out of your pocket. Luckily I contested this and got a real ""second opinon"" who the warranty company listened to and will be replacing the valve.
2. When they went to shut the water off to the house to diagnose the valve they broke the valve that shuts the water off to the house. I have nad no water in the house for 10 days! I have had to run hoses from my neighbor just to keep my grass alive. Their ""senior technician"" Jonathan was supposed to look at the broken valve. When he called me to tell me he was on the way, he said it would matter because they weren't responsible. He wouldn't even come out and look at the problem because they insist they didn't touch the valve. I was on the phone with the plumber when he was closing the valve!!!! The house is vacant and there has been no other plumbers on site until today. Second Opinion could've broke the valve to try to drum up business. I will never know exactly what they did, but I will take the broken valve as evidence. I will see these guys in court. Unethical, no sense of responsibilty or customer service. There are plenty of plumbers in Las Vegas. Do yourself a favor and hire someone professional, not these crooked bums!

I would not even give them 1 star,my warranty company sent (second opinion plumbing) out to check my hot water heater, they show up basically tell me they can't do anything to help, they don't even have a water heater on there truck, then they told my warranty company that they did an inspection of my water in my home and the heater which they didn't. Also the guy had the nerve to tell me he can flush my heater out for $200.00 dollars. very unprofessional. If you have a home warranty and have plumbing concerns, don't let them step foot on your property.

Once you actually get them to show up, Watch out! Rip off, they are working with Old Republic Home Owners Protection and it's a scam. At first I was told it's a simple fix to change a leaky water valve by my washer machine, when the guy finally came out now it's a major project where they need to cut down the dry wall and replace pipes... the insurance company said your are in luck, all you have to pay for the upgrade to my plumbing and pipes and valves is an additional $175. Ok, so now I'm thinking not too bad, $75 + $175 for this major project. When Second Hand finally showed up for this major project the repair man was in and out in 5 minutes, all he did was change the simple water valve. AGAIN watch out these two companies have a scam to rob your hard earned money. When I called Old Republic to complain she said we will report it, I said will anyone follow up with me, she said nope... end of story.

Our hot water heater wasn't working properly. (I believe the gas wasn't heating it up). It required a new replacement part. As soon as we requested someone come check it out Albert arrived within two hours. Albert was awesome. He went all the way across town (during heavy traffic hours) and returned same day (again during traffic hours). Anyone who lives in vegas will tell you that the 5pm traffic is no joke so we really appreciate him for doing a same day repair. Thank you!
