This place is nothing but a scam and a rip off. Dishonest people who don't know how to do business and take care of their customers. Called them out to take care of a small clog. Talked me into getting some pipe work done and updated. When techs left, a pipe that they didn't even work on was leaking and I was told ""it should stop."" When it didn't I was charged for additional work because it was ""a new project.""

They did not even extend me the courtesy of a response when I contacted their service for an estimate for a job involving plumbing and electrical work.

I would not recommend them.... their office workers are always messing up and I spend more time dealing with correcting them then I spend getting work done! Thats probably why they have to charge a dispatch fee to pay their people to stand around talking to office workers while they look up info they lost! Also they are very pricey and buying their membership is worthless because they can never find your points so you pay for NOTHING!

Very bad service..Tech lied as to what he did, and supposedly put new heat tape over old heat tape,, never put another part on the end of heat tape. I put out over 300.00 and they had no warranty for the work they did. So I still had no water after 3 days, and they are.a scamming company of the consumers..
I would not recommend them to anyone..

Secco Home Services at first glance seems like a legitimate service, but at the end of the day the entire organization is fraudulent and continuously misrepresent their services. The plumbing, the HVAC, and the electrical services are all over priced. Actually had a representative tell my spouse that they have incentives to locate and find problems. I'm all for locating issues, but Secco installed the HVAC system, backup house Generator, and Humidifier for my house. I have been a loyal customer for 10 + years with an annual service contract and they ""always"" attempt to upsell or ""find"" something wrong with the systems that they installed. I understand the need for service, but Secco is fraudulent and ""sell"" one process, but complete another process. Secco installed my HVAC systems, backup generator, water heater and other items. Their prices are ridiculous, their rainy day points are BS, and I wouldn't recommend Secco to my worst enemy. 3 people have lied to me on 3 separate occasions in the last three weeks pertaining to what I have paid for. Social Media is a strong and its my mission today, tomorrow, and forever after to inform the consumer of the pathetic customer service and lies of this organization. DO NOT CONSIDER THIS ORGANIZATION #ANYONEELSE. #NOTSECCO, #SECCONEVER.

Had them out to my house for a preventative maintenance cleaning. Was informed within 10 minutes that I needed an entire new heating and cooling system. He then called another person to come over and discuss ""options"". All extremely expensive options. Not knowing much about this stuff, we gave in and placed the order and signed up for their membership program as well all to the tune of $7800. With in an hour or so of them leaving we had a change of heart and called the next day and cancelled the job. We had another company come out and replace a part for $120. Something that actually needed done. No dispatch fee. We will be having them do a heat pump tune up for $125, and we will also have the vents cleaned for $165. Secco charges $2000 for a duct cleaning but if you don't get the ultra violet light doo-hickie, it's $995. We found out about that item when our original costs were $9088 and they took it off.

Even though we cancelled the job with Secco we still have to pay an $89 dispatch fee, and the $40 membership fee is non refundable. So for $130 we got a 2 hour sales pitch on a system we didn't need.

Bottom line, these people have lots of fancy trucks and radio ads they have to pay for and their ""techs"" are out selling jobs and systems, not actually doing any work.

A complete rip off business. Extremely poor workmanship. Company does not stand by the product s they sell or there workmanship. After they installed a heating/ Ac unit that completely failed they then tried to scam thousands of more dollars from me to fix it. Do not let this company near your property.

The work they do is quality work, but their pricing is outrageous. They charge two to four times as much as others and often try to sell you things you don't need. Their techs are more salesmen than techs. I won't even take their ""free"" inspections they offer because I just don't trust them to be honest. For example, a few years back, I was getting my heat pump serviced and the tech noticed some rust in my electrical box. He quoted me a price of $5,800 to fix it and recommended that I get it fixed immediately because it was a fire hazard. He tried to pressure me into having Secco get started on the work that day. I said no and called three other contractors to look at the issue. The range in prices for doing the same work was $1,200 to $3,000. I went with the guy that charged us $1,500. All three stated that the work Secco suggested needed to be done, but wasn't an emergency or anywhere close to a fire hazard yet.

Do not waste your time. Scheduled an appointment for an estimate and no one ever showed up. After calling the office, I was advised that no appointment is ever guaranteed on time. That information needs disclosed at the time of scheduling as most people work for a living!

Price is completely out of line. Because of that they come off as a scam company trying to convince lay homeowners and innocent old ladies to pay nearly double what they should for work that may not even be necessary.

That being said, they do good quality work and are punctual. And if you buy onto a membership you can use points to offset some of the overpricing. They a good company to have available for the semi-emergency work. I keep a running membership in case something breaks while I'm on the road and my wife can't fix it.

For that I think they serve a decent role. For planned work and improvements, bid to multiple contractors and you will see how much Secco overcharges customers for the convenience factor.
