Seay Plumbing has helped me out a 2 occurances with a broken water main and broken pipe from a car running into my house. No issues with the work and was prompt to do the work.

Steve set up an appointment and never showed up, call him from my number and texted him, no answer, no reply. Called him from a friend phone, Steve answered and lied about an appointment for Saturday, then he stated are you ready to pay!!! How can a customer commit when he does not know how complex is the project? This was a Re-pipe of a house, I am sure you can imagine how big of a job this is... Stay away from this business.

STAY AWAY FROM STEVE SEAY!!! Steve replaced the water main on our house. He used an improper fitting which failed just over a year after replacement. His work was completed with a 15 year guarantee, however, he failed to respond to any requests. We were forced to have it fixed by someone else and he is now unresponsive in requests to discuss. Avoid the hassle I'm facing and AVOID STEVE SEAY!

First, Steve isn't a licensed plumber. He uses a retired plumber's license and then hires day laborers to do the work because Steve himself is not a trade professional. He found an opportunity in the market where there is a shortage of skilled trade teams and took advantage of it. Markets himself as licensed and insured and he is neither. Even has trucks that say Seay Plumbing on them. He came in as a subcontractor to rough in our showroom and while the owner was on vacation, he made the claim to the accountants that he was 95% complete with the project, ready for inspection, and required to be paid the remaining balance on the contract. Once the owner returned, we found that he had not completed 20% of the project, what was completed was not installed correctly and then he jerked us around for a year sending drug addicts to the property that were not equipped to do the work. It was a mess. He's been sued in Bartow County by the corporate attorney and a state complaint has been filed on his company. He's become known in the building industry for being a fraud and owes several contractors money back. To top it all off, he won't even provide his tax information for the money paid.

This company works in my complex they have shut the water off without adequate notification every day since 09-18-2019. I do not ever see anyone working. 1x is an emergency however every day for a week with zero cones or signage is unacceptable. The only city in America with a daily water crisis is Flint, Michigan I am extremely agitated even more so now after reading the reviews.

Our general contractor, Jose, turned out to be a crooked scam artist...leaving our bathroom demolished. I had heard good things about Steve Seay Plumbing, so I called him to see if he could help. He showed up the next morning and by day's end had the bathroom finished and replaced a 18 yr old water heater that was on borrowed time. Very professional and fairly priced...I know who I'll call next time I have a plumbing need!!

Water leak. 1000gpm. Yeah. Called SEAY, told them, 45 minutes & the guys were here. 15 minutes & they were gone. Super nice, super efficient. They are """"Our Plumbers."""" Thank you all. Used our Debit Card, & boom. Even gave us the form for a Public Utilities reimbursement. P.S. Fixed income'rs like us appreciate the modern convenience of on-site electronic payments. From to . Thank y'all again.

We have a recurring plumbing issue. Our entire house backs up, into showers, tub, and toilets. We have had the plumbers who installed the system in our brand new home have been called at least 8 times since we moved in. There is a low spot in our pipe outdoors where it continually plugs up, even though we only have two people living here. Today we called them again and even though we were unable to use any of our three toilets, no one could come out. We called Seay's Plumbing Inc and they came today and unclogged the pipe even though they had a very busy day. They were wonderful.

Used incorrect parts, installed shower drains in my bathtubs, work was not up to code. It was a new build, and now everything they did must be replaced. Did not follow through on diagnosing and fixing leaks of what they did. does not check their own craftmanship. poor quality and leaves job incomplete. never returned despite being paid in full.

We had a house fire a year ago and the initial contractor we worked with on repairs brought Seay's Plumbing on board. With the knowledge I had at the time, the quote looked good and I agreed to move forward on a total house repipe. He was paid over 80% of the total job cost after confirming that rough in was complete. After coming to find out that the contractor I was using was inept and stealing - we parted ways with that GC. Upon hiring a replacement, I was told my plumbing rough in was not in-fact complete and that we could not get inspection to move forward until it was. I began to contact Steve Seay to complete the job he was PAID for, but to no avail. At this point my new contractor had isolated water leaks in my new plumbing, showed me several areas where pipes were not braced or secured within studs, no drain or water lines were run to my master tub and no vent or gas line run for my tankless water heater. (As an aside) I had also been made aware that his quote to re-pipe my house (entirely in CPVC) and install a new tankless WH was identical in price to two quotes given for the same scope - One using all copper and the other copper and pex. So not only did he charge premium pricing for the cheapest materials possible - his guys didn't even do that correctly or completely. They also took every ounce of existing copper from my home (and charged me for it!). But I digress... So after finding out that there was so much that still needed to be completed and having already paid for it. I began to contact Steve to arrange for completion. He made several agreements to send someone out each time no one showing up. I continued to give benefit of doubt because with this nightmare of a restoration - I was getting to a place where we could no longer absorb paying multiple times for the same job. So, since he was already paid - I needed him to finish. Well a month of lies later - I finally have to move on and pay someone else to complete. I also paid for a tankless water heater that I do not have. I believe this constitutes theft. I will be pursuing all remedies available to me by law to reclaim my my money and any materials I am still due. I've seen varied reviews on this company but honestly the only good ones are simple swap outs. Please save yourself the trouble of lost money, time and legal recourse. Especially on a large job!
