When you wake up and there's no hot water it sucks!!!! Especially with two young kids!!!

Our Water Heater (Gas based) stopped working. Basically lost the fire.
It is GE SG Series - Manufactured in 2008. Yes, almost 12 years.
But it looks new and it is clean.

We sought help to fix via Yelp.
Received 6 responses.
Five of them, saying - it is too old an appliance, just replace it.
(Note: without even look at it! :()

Cost ranged from 1250 to 2000 for tank heater.
And 2500 to 5000 for Tank-less water heater.
(I have heard these water heaters convert water into Gold! Wink! Wink! )

Then came Matt.
Sent him a simple text, with pictures.
He said this can be fixed in less than $200.
Scheduled an appointment at 1 PM.
He showed up sharp, took 33 min.
No debates, no discussions, just straight work.
and Booyeah! - Finished in 33 minutes - end-to-end.

He even came back because I thought the water was not hot anymore after an hour and made sure it was fine.
Note:
Others unanimously said it is not fixable and it will not last, if fixed.
Matt assured it will, the condition of our heater is good enough for it to last a few. While the time will prove it one way or other - his honesty is simply admirable.

Others simply wanted us to make a decision.
One thing I hate is to get forced into, is making a decision without a due-diligence. And thus even if it gets burst tomorrow, Matt catered to my need, customer's need, to buy time.

Guess what, Matt is our family plumber from now on.

Responsive, fast with quality work!

I reached out to Seashore Plumbing via Yelp to get a quote to replace a water heater at my house. They responded quickly, on a Sunday, and were able to come out the next morning to get the work done. The quote was fair, and even a bit less expensive than some of the competitors. The work quality is top notch. I'll definitely use them again when I have plumbing needs.
