Had quotes for gas hot water heater and installation and his cash price was best in local area. Questioned about adding expansion tank and he told me if it did not have one on originally, then ""not needed"" with new heater.
Pressure valve leaking on new water heater within a month of installation. Needs expansion tank to solve the issue. Steve Quoted $200 to add the expansion tank.
Other plumbing companies that I originally quoted replacing hot water heater ""included"" an expansion tank. Questioned Steve about cost of the expansion tank....would not give me his cost, only to say $200 for the job and would charge me his cost for the expansion tank. I said Home Depot sells tank for $40. So he said ok have Home Depot install it and hung up on me! Appears you cannot have a legitimate calm conversation and get straight answers. Very unprofessional, and surprised me as he appeared to be a nice guy.
So, I will find someone else to add the expansion tank.

One star is being kind. Purchased a house in which this company carried out a complete overhaul including new water, heating system amongst other items totaling over 50k. Every single piece they installed has broken or failed in some manner. All the products was top of the line. They did come out once to fix a heating issue (burnt wires)... but this resulted in BGE monthly bill totaling over $1200 as they miswired the fix (I had to use a different company as despite being issued a 5-year warranty they refuse to answer phone or return emails. I plan to sue. Cowboys.

Came on time, was pleasant and very efficient. Left the job fully complete, clean, and in full working order. Great communication, low key, and very fair pricing. Would recommend to friends and family. Can't ask for much more than that!

We had to have a toilet installed and he was very sppedy at getting it done. He came out to look at what needed to be done, quoted a price, and got it done the next day. We highly recommend him. We will be calling him again.

Very unprofessional. We had an appointment to get our boiler serviced for the winter season SE Green never shows up, never calls to inform us that they wont be coming either. When my wife calls to ask what happened the man was very rude. Do your self a favor and use a different service.

HORRIBLE! We contracted for $1600 worth of work while we would be away. After several weeks on no-news, we phoned to be told that nothing was done as Green had LOST OUR KEY! When we asked when we were to be told this, he hung up on us. A subsequent call got the same treatment.

In hiring another plumber, we discovered that he took care of everything Green was going to do, for a $75 service call, rather than the $1600 Green said we needed to invest. . SO -- Green is horrible with customers, rude, and seemingly unethical. AVOID!!

Summary: My water heater broke today. Called the service sticker on my unit and let them know it was leaking and since they installed it wanted to check if it was under warranty. The technician said no problem, Ill be out after lunch.

About 12:30 he showed up, look at it and said ""I doubt that is under warranty"". Then he show me how to look it up on the web by manufacture date.(Really... could have told me how to do that on the phone). I responded that I called you (while pointing to the sticker on the unit) because I was hoping you had record of the purchase. The tech told me that they bought Master and didn't keep any of the invoices so it wasn't going to be covered. He then quoted me $1500 to replace it, but I wanted to get some other quotes before I committed. He said OK it will be $75 for the service call. I ask him if he'd take a better look at it since he was charging me for the hour and he said I was being charge for his drive time and the quote. And by looking at it (from the outside) he had complete his diagnostic.

FYI... Lowes and Home Depot can do the same job for around $1200.

This guy is a joke. Came out to diagnose AC problem. Said it was the board in the air handling unit $500, but said it would probably blow again and he would recommend replacing the whole thing to a tune of $4500!!! I said I would like to get a second opinion. So he left everythin open - air handler and ac unit outside where mice had gotten in. I had a heating guy (not air) come out and look - it took him 15 minutes to figure out the thermostat was shot from the short the mice created! He couldn't believe an air guy could not figure that one out which indicates to me SCAM artist!!!!!!!! He should be reported to BBB
