Terrible!!!
Amy the receptionist extremely rude.
Santiago the plumber incompetent I had to call other company to fix what he didn't fix.
He arrived with an attitude of I do not want to work.
First time this happens to me night and day difference compared with other American Home Shield companies. I cannot understand why they keep them.

Was connected to SDL Plumbing via a home mortgage. Has been 6 hours and four calls without confirmation on when they can get someone out to fix a backed up sewer. This is in a home we recently purchased. During each of the last two calls they stressed that they understood the urgency. Given several more hours passing - I don't believe they do. Am pretty much livid at this point.

I have a contract with American Home Shield. They sent Bryan with SDL Plumbing to come out to look at our tankless hot water heater. He was condescending and didn't even open up or look at the unit. Said it needed "maintenance" and that it would be $410 and not covered by AHS. I told him the unit has been serviced in the past he basically called me a liar even though I have proof of service. He came out on 6/13/18 and two weeks later they have still not submitted a diagnosis to AHS. He also specifically told me not to call AHS. I am still waiting to have the hot water heater fixed. We have been without hot water going on one month. This company lacks ethics and has very poor customer service.

I have a service contract, which sent SDL Plumbing for a leak repair in the space between the foyer ceiling and living room floor of my condo. When scheduling the appointment, I attempted to give a heads up as to supplies necessary to save the plumber's time. The receptionist was not receptive, indicating the plumber would do his own assessment. I wasn't trying to instruct them in their work, I simply knew that they can't possibly have everything, always needed, on every job & thought it would be good for them to have an idea. The plumber came, I shared the info with him. I specifically let him know he needed to be aware the condo maintenance crew had been out - just as a favor - to patch the one leak to mitigate further damage. But, it seemed to them that there may be more than one in that length of pipe. He ignored me and fixed only one leak. Sure enough, when water damage repair began, another leak down the same pipe was discovered. Repair was delayed as I revisited the original scenario. The next plumber SDL sent said he couldn't fix it because it was the purview of the HOA. I explained the insurance company had already reviewed the HOA documentation & had authorized the plumbing repair. In addition, I offered to show him the documentation. He left without fixing the leak! When my service contract representative called SDL to clarify, the story changed - that the leak was the result of the pipe rubbing against something & it would be a $600 repair. The pipe was Between the 1st & 2nd Floors-there was nothing touching the pipe. Further delay ensued as I made an appointment with another plumbing company which has fixed the leak. Please do yourself a favor. Don't subject yourself to the haughty receptionist, nor allow yourself to be gouged by plumbers who don't want to work as the service contract stipulates.

Crooks. American Home Shield dispatched Lonnie, the creepiest guy I've ever met, who only gave us the option to tunnel in from the outside of the house to fix our leak. Said it would be $5,000 for just the first 10ft. Totally used scare tactics until I was almost in tears. We hired a different company who rerouted the plumbing for very little expense in just a couple of hours. Needless to say, stay away!

SDL Plumbing changed a hot water heater in our home and left the carpet soaked with water. Called to ask if it was my responsibility to clean up their mess, and Amy the receptionist said this job is finished. WARNING Do Not Use Them! Sloppy service.

1 Star still doesn't do justice to this company. Stay away from this company. Somehow they are the only company to pick up American Homeshield claims after hours even they close at 4?? They made sure my claim was denied and then said I could go ahead and pay them 1800 for a new water heater or 4200 for tankless. All I needed was a thermocouple replacement. About a $15 replacement that I didn't have time to YouTube and get done.

Do not use SDL Plumbing. American Home Shield has them contracted to do service calls. They only want to up-charge and then overcharge for other items. They do not want to do the actual work and only want to supply items that are not or were not what they were serviced to do. Provided AHS an inaccurate diagnosis of the problem and AHS denied coverage.

Josh came out and fixed our problem and was very pleased with the results. Josh was very knowledgeable and I would definitely recommend them.

Worst plumbing company I had. They were the company sent by American Home Shield. They came twice to replace a faucet, different story every time after they speak with AHS. They asked for out of poker cost that was unrealistic and basic rip off. Faucet retail cost $290 they wanted $765 for the same faucet. Horrible experience and I was about to cancel my AHS contract because of them
