I was a new homeowner when all drains clogged up in my house. Old Republic Insurance sent someone out to look at the problem. It was a joke! He wanted to refer me to others (for a kickback is what others speculated on YELP) and said he couldn't help me although I still had to pay the service fee. I called Jessie with SD Rooter immediately because he did work on the house for the previous owner. Jessie came to my home the very same day. Not only was he able to snake a drain to open a toilet to use, he didn't even charge me! It was obvious this guy knew his stuff. He started on my repairs right away. It was clear to him that there was a problem with the main line from the house to the street. Initially, he estimated it would take about two days to do the repairs by installing a double cleanout, hydro jet the lines, and resleeve the main pipe. He quoted me a price and proceeded with the work. But after he and his crew dug a trench down to the main pipe and evaluated the situation, they realized the situation was much more serious and involved. The job started on a Thursday and Jessie said they would work through the weekend if they needed to complete the job. He was true to his word and worked through the weekend; however, it took about 9 days for the job to be complete! They tried to shoot material into the line to resleeve it but the old cast Iron pipe was in such bad shape, they needed to replace it, so more excavating needed to be done. Jessie worked with me. Even though he gave me a price assuming the pipe would be resleeved, he stuck by his word and did not charge me more money even though it cost him a lot more money to replace the entire pipe. He also provided several free services for me: snaking my drains twice, running a cable and camera through lines, and he also looked at a different problem inside the house free. I had to work part of the time during the repair so Jessie was great about updating me. His crew were hard workers and professional. Because it was so hot, I provided water, drinks, and some food because they were so nice and were working so hard in the heat!! They were VERY appreciative. When they completed the job, their concrete work over the area of my driveway that was removed looked really good! They were also meticulous in cleaning up trash and debris and hauling it away. Jessie took care of me, and although he could have made more money doing this job, he stuck by his word and charged me less than what he would have normally charged. Jessie is honest. He'll tell you directly that he's not the cheapest and he's not the most expensive. He is very good and experienced and he knows what he's doing. I highly recommend this company.

We called for a repair on Thursday June 21, 2018. There was a leak in our washer, so we called San Diego Rooter Company to come and repair the leak. The leak was temporarily fixed as our washer is leaking again and the bathroom that is adjacent to the washer and dryer is now not working.

We gave it a few days to see if the leak would persist... It is Tuesday, June 26 a few minutes shy of the conversation that entailed the comment below and it is still leaking.

In turn, we placed another phone call to inform the repairman (who only provided a business card without his name on it) that the washer is still leaking and that our bathroom is not working only to be replied with ""You don't know what you're doing!!"" And then the same repairman hung up the phone.

With this being said, please read the reviews before you hire San Diego Rooter Company. At the very least this company and/or the repairman could have come back to check the leak and try to assess the problem to fix again. That's the very least he can do with a repair job that cost $325.00.

Also, check the other reviews posted on here. They serve no credit on their behalf as majority of the ""Yelpers"" on here have but a single review- most likely fabricated from this business itself.

***warning*** do not do services with this company! he will over charge you for services that could be done for 3x's less! he manipulates customers by turning your work order into an emergency work duty for him, just so he could charge an extra $200!

With plumbers, one can be very skeptical, but I took a chance and called Jesse as we needed to get a camera in a sewer line of a commercial building and Jesse answered right away and was able to meet me at the property, do the camera work and suggest to hydro jet flush the sewer lines with water pressure to clean them.

He was extremely knowledgeable, professional and prices were very reasonable. I would recommend and use Jesse any day.

Spoke to a guy named Jesse, explained my situation, agreed to have him over with a camera to look inside of my pipes. Agreed to pay a flat fee for the service. Gave all information including pipe size, location of p-trap, etc. He showed up with no tools, no camera. All he did was looked at my drain telling me that his camera was too big to fit in. I would be ok with him just wasting my time and hiring someone else with the right equipment, but he charged me a full fee for the ""services"", calling it an inspection! Do yourself a favor, stay away from this scam.

I saw SD Rooter perform two major water line repairs at the Harbor Inn Suites in Oceanside this week while a guest.
They were very friendly and explained what they were doing and how. They finished late each day and made sure the job was done right!
If I lived around here; I'd definitely call SD Rooter to do the job!

Jesse is the guy you want to call when you need the job done right the first time. What started with a backed up sewer line was revealed to be a much more serious problem. Jesse diagnosed the issue, showed us proof of the issue with his camera, and provided us with three options for resolution. We opted for the most long-term solution, knowing out 65 year old cast iron sewer line was a disaster waiting to happen. Jesse and his team completed a 10 day job in 4 days, cheaper than anyone else could have. I hihgly recommend SD Rooter.
