They have winterized my cabin for a few years and been great. Show up when scheduled and did everything correct. This last time they didn't disconnect the washing machine which led to the plastic part with the hose on it to crack over the winter. When I called to discuss they told me it was not there job to remove the hoses but mine. I've never done that before but they were adamant my fault. Not interested in me paying for the part and they doing the labor to fix. So, a repair later the washing machine works but I won't call SCR again.

I had them come out for a tune up and apparently needed a part. She told me the cost of the part around $111.00 with $25.00 for shipping and then $95.00 for labor. She failed to tell me that they charge from their office to my home and back to the office. I had asked about those kinds of charges when I stopped in to set up my 1st appointment and they said they don't add on charges like that. Well yes they do cause my bill came to over $277.00 much more than I was quoted. I won't give them any business in the future. They are crooks. Not to mention leave a dirty mess when they leave and don't even offer to take of their boots when they come in my home.

Requested a shower valve replaced. This company are crooks. They sent a bill for over $1000 which is outrageous. Claimed to install parts that was never installed and did work that wasn't required (cut entire pvc line out from shut off to shower valve both hot and cold when there was not anything wrong with either one). Then Brenden had the audacity to say it was a complicated plumbing job after I had opened up the access panel and all lines were out in the open. The plumber says he took over 3 hours for the job and I could have done it myself in less than an hour. NEVER NEVER USE THIS COMPANY. You will get ripped off. They are charging $369 for a Moen shower value that you can buy any day for less than $100.00 and $40 for shut off valve that costs $13.00

Got estimate to do work, when work was completed Bill was double. Please pay attention to these reviews and avoid these crooks.

We had a kitchen sink clog. SCR said they would promptly come take a look. They arrived in a timely fashion. However, the electric snake was making a funny noise and they stated ""that's funny we just got it back from repair"". $262 later they said we were good to go. An hour later the sink was full again. It was never fixed. The next morning we called back and they stated they could come cut through the ceiling of our finished basement to install another valve to snake through or we could try another plumber. We then called another plumber who came out and snaked the drain without difficulty. they were also less than half the cost. I did call and discuss my frustration that another plumber performed the same service without issue. The woman I spoke to at SCR came across brash and did not offer any reconciliation. Would certainly not recommend SCR.

They tried to rip me off and charge me $4600 for a water heater install because I am disabled. They thought because I cant get down stairs to my basement that I didnt know how my basement looked and what was going on. Tried to tell me it was impossible to remove my tank water heater and put in a new tank and then tried to tell me that a tankless install would cost $4600 like I dont know that it actually costs around $2600. Went with Northern Air and not only did they get out my tank but they installed a larger tank than I had for less than $2000. Just because I have tits doesnt make me fucking stupid. They also told me theyd show up on one day but never came and never called so I wasted my fucking day waiting for them to show up for a simple estimate. Do not trust these people they will 100% scam you if they can.

I sincerely wish I'd have never done business with these snakes. They rob you with a smile on their face. The work was good, but the estimate was intentionally misleading, and ended up being over 50% more than what I expected to be paying. Then, after that, they had the gall to hard sell me to replace the central air that they reinstalled with the new furnace. I will never do business with these crooks again, and wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy.

If you want to pay $500 for someone to come out to your place and tell you they don't know what is wrong with your furnace, and that it will take them an additional 8 hours and thousands of dollars to find the problem and then try to sell you a whole new furnace, call these guys. Or save yourself the time, extra money and lies and call their competition. We ended up paying $400 to have a small, private company come out, diagnose it within 10 minutes of being here, AND fix it, saving us the $4000-$6000 scr wanted. Steer clear of these scam artists.
