If I could give this company a zero I would. Sneaky, liars, very bad customer service, rude, came out for a busted pipe, ended up trying to price gouge me by saying my home warranty and my homeowners insurance will not cover what happened in between my walls. Also goes by another company name, so you don't really know who you're going to get. Beware of these people and look them up!

My A/C has been out for over a week and I filed a claim with the home warranty company. I was scheduled out for over 10 days despite record heat. I was told by the warranty company that I could contact Scottsdale HVAC & Plumbing to see if they could get me in sooner. Whenever I called, I was told there was a high demand for HVAC service, but could be put on a list to be moved up if there was a cancellation. I agreed to do so and was understanding that there might be others in my shoes who were waiting to have their A/C repaired so my wife and I dealt with the heat in the interim. They did indeed bump me up. It was only a day, but I was appreciative of any bump in time. Scottsdale HVAC & Plumbing, as well as the warranty company, reached out to me to confirm my appointment.

Hours before my scheduled appointment, I get a phone call from Scottsdale HVAC & Plumbing telling me that they are in a dispute with the warranty company unrelated to my case. The dispute was related to nonpayment, so they were calling anyone that was scheduled through the warranty company for the day and telling them they can either cancel their appointment or pay out of pocket. The attitude was highly unprofessional and callous. When I asked if they only became aware of the dispute this morning, they would not answer and responded with, ""You have the option of paying out of pocket."" I told them I was unwilling to pay out of pocket since it was a warranty claim and they immediately cancelled the appointment despite the amount of time I had already been waiting in triple digit temperatures. I am now having to start from the beginning with another company with no clear timeline on a resolution.

Do not use this company under any circumstances.

Our A/C unit went out on August 1st and so I contacted my home warranty company. They contracted with this company to repair it. I was given an appointment for the 11th (the soonest they had because it's summer in Arizona) and so we waited. On the 8th, I get an email from Scottsdale HVAC saying my appointment has been moved further out to the 15th. I called them to inquire why and was told that it was an ""insurance issue"". When I pressed the guy about what that meant, he said it was because it's a home warranty insurance and not a self-pay so I was put to the end of the line and the cash/credit customers were being scheduled ahead of me. What?!?! Then don't take the job!! I've waited a week already and now you decide to tell me this?? Insurance or not, beware of a business that would treat a customer like this.

This company was called from my warranty company. They never called or followed up after initial tearing of my walls on the second day. Left me without water until I could get another plumber on day 6.

I would leave a no star review, but Yelp does not allow. Since the owner told me he could not do anything to help me, I told him that I could help by leaving a review to warn other paying customers of this negligent, nonprofessional, malpractice act.

To start off, the technician was an outstanding employee and was there to complete a job to the best of his ability. The technician was dispatched to my house to replace a water heater. From the start, the technician was given the wrong material and equipment to do the job. He was set for failure. After myself having to call the owner, Andrew, to come out and assist, all he did was stand, watch, and go purchase the correct material. After replacement, seeing the non-level water heater, all the damages and a leak caused by poor install and lack of training (I must mention this was the tech's first water heater install), I texted Andrew to come out and help resolve the issues. After some thought, I called him the next morning to save myself a headache for how I saw this panning out. And I was correct! He told me that damages were part of the work and they can't do anything about it. The damages included denting and burning the water heater! I understand that damages may happen but there is always a place for procedures and protocols to prevent damages from happening, even reconciliation if they do happen. How Andrew treated me, it's a wonder how he treats other high paying customers and employees. I now have to pay another contactor, that is much more personal, and professional to come out and fix this mess. See photos for damage.

My AC broke in the middle of summer and it was miserable, called them and they were so quick to help me.. definitely gonna save their number in case this heat kills my AC again!! Thanks guys

This company saved the day! My a/c was not blowing cold air and this happened mid day, I messaged a few businesses on yelp and Andrew was the first one to get back to me. They were able to come out later that night and check out what was going. They do charge a service fee but it does get applied to the overall bill which is nice as well. They were able to fix the problem with a recharge of my system and we now have cold air. I will definitely be using this company for any problems I have in the future with my HVAC. I highly recommend!
