i called and asked for service to snake my plugged toilet and diane office lady said it would be 2 weeks !! that's outrageous and bad customer service !!! and she was snarky !!!

Came to the property to install an EcoSmart water filtration system. They knew exactly how to do it. Used top-shelf parts and finished within a day. They do not do tank anchors without prior planning (lumber, straps, hardware) although they could come back to add this feature. Quality 5 stars, Speed 5 stars, Price 4 stars. They were more expensive than some (about 15 to 20 percent higher) but it was worth it so that there were no significant issues. Cheap plumbers are not the ones you want in your house. File that idea with cheap climbing rope, cheap motorcycle helmets and cheap dentistry. Sorry they did not perform on some of the reviews here but this was my recent experience. Perhaps they took note of these previous comments?

Showed up late by about an hour yet only documented they were 19 minutes late. I was charged for the additional time they spent doing the work. When I called to discuss they basically laughed me off the phone. Said it was only $15. If I am late on a payment with them they charge $15. They were late to the job so I should get that time back since I had to wait extra time. They almost have a monopoly on the island. Job could have easily been done within the first thirty minutes. Not happy with the service and won't use again or recommend to anyone.

These guys are the BEST! Not only do they consistently do excellent work when they say they will and for a very reasonable price...but they are nice folks. They expertly handled all the plumbing for our whole house remodel, and I just reached out tto them to add a water softener. They did it all perfectly and I couldn't be happier. Many thanks to Scottie and Ryan - you guys are fantastic!

Scotties technician arrived during the designated time and quickly unplugged our toilet. Being a do-it-yourselfer I had tried for two days using two types of plungers and a 4 foot snake to unclog it without success. The technician was polite, removed his shoes upon entering the house, sized up the problem and had the toilet cleared within minutes. We only had to pay to basic service call fee. Can't ask for more than that.

Scotty's was paid to fix some plumbing that was called out on an inspection while we were buying our house. They were given photos and details instructions of what needed repaired. No showed multiple times. Finally showed to do the repair. Everything was signed off by their guy as repaired. A year later when we go to sell the house the same pipe with the same duct tape still needed repaired and was called out by the inspector. They didn't even bother to remove the duct tape to make it look like they had attempted a repair!!! When contacted with the invoice and photos from both inspections they said it wasn't their problem and offered to fix it for another $700. Scammers!!!! I know that I could have taken them to court and win but that would have cost me again. Do not trust!!!!

Not terrible, but I'm sure there are better companies. I might rate them 2.5 stars if that was an option, but 3 stars is described as ""A-OK,"" and that's not how I would describe my experience with them.

I contacted Scottie's about my water softening system. They arrived promptly, but they weren't able to resolve my problem. Their technician, while courteous and professional, wasn't familiar with some of the features of my system, although it isn't all that old. They charged me $125 for a short visit that didn't fix my problem. I'm also surprised they have no way to pay online, and their paper billing doesn't provide a return envelope.

Bottom line: They might be okay if you have an emergency, but I think I'll try another company the next time I have routine plumbing needs.

Does not send out licensed plumbers!!!
When someone comes to your job ask to see the plumbers certification card. If they don't have one , send them away.
