Scott came to the house quickly, checked multiple potential issues, and was very reassuring and clear about his recommendations. So glad we called him. This is the second time we've used Scott Co.

Both times he offered troubleshooting help over the phone before offering his services. 1st time he replaced a toilet and installed a flange. He clearly values the customer experience and does great work.

Called this company to follow up on my employee's (my manager, to be specific) previous call to them, asking to get out to address a problem we have been having with our tankless water heater and a drain clog. I called because my manager wasn't given certainty as to WHEN he would be coming out and to emphasize the emergency nature of our restaurant's situation and the urgent need to get somebody out ASAP.

I didn't even get to complete my explanation as to who I was. He interrupted when I stated the name of our business and he said, ""Your gal already called and I told her that I would maybe try to come out sometime today or tomorrow. Okay? Thanks."" And, unbelievably, he then simply hung up on me.

Now, reading other reviews from people who have had similar experiences, I see that hanging up on people is pretty much the ""norm"" for Scottco.

We were contacting Scottco because we had their sticker on our unit (which is being removed today). I immediately got on the phone with someone else and got on their schedule.

Here's what I then texted to the person who hung up on me (who I can only assume is the owner of the company):

""Hi. This is ***, the general manager at *********, the guy you hung up on 20 minutes ago. We are now on the schedule of one of your competitors. They are coming at a definite time, not sometime today or tomorrow.""

I told FlowHawks that if something opened up prior to the scheduled time, please come on out, and they did. They came two hours early, much to our extreme appreciation.

By the way, I got no response at all from Scottco following my text to inform him we found somebody else willing to actually schedule their services. Scottco: don't promote your business as reliable. You aren't.

Scott fixed a hot water line that sprung leaks behind my water heater a couple months ago. He came right away and fixed the issue quickly. Because I had issues related to the water leaking for a couple days, Scott couldn't just move my hot water heater back into position and be done with it. So, he hooked it up and moved it off to the side and promised to come back after all my repairs were finished to move the heater back into position and strap it down at no extra charge. True to his word, he just came back and finished it after all my repairs were over.

His rates were very reasonable--like kind of shockingly reasonable given the rates everyone else charges in Western Washington. I did read some negative reviews prior to calling Scott, but that wasn't my experience at all, and as he explained, he likes to communicate over the phone, not by text. He is very reachable that way, and if a good plumber who doesn't charge an arm and a leg prefers a little flexibility on my part, I'll happily accommodate him. I'll definitely call him again if I ever have any plumbing needs, which hopefully won't be any time soon.

I had a second OUTSTANDING experience with Scott, owner of Scottco Plumbing today! He and Shawn were courteous, professional and experts at fixing a difficult drain problem. And ""Scottacular"" DOES NOT gouge. All my plumbing issues will be handled by Scottco Plumbing! As a homeowner or business, you can't go wrong with this A Plus plumbing business.

Scott was great. I ended up calling him with a leak under my kitchen sink and he was fast to respond. He ended up coming over and fixed the leak in no time, and was so generous with his time and pricing. I will definitely be calling Scott from now on for all plumbing needs. Thanks so much!!

I got a direct message on Yelp telling me I'm mean because I kept getting harassed by this guy. Photo is attached.
If you miss appointments with me twice in a row and don't make any effort to let me know you'll be late (or not coming), maybe other consumers deserve to know you were unreliable for me. That isn't ""tarnishing a small business owner""; that's just describing events you're embarrassed happened.

Scott is an amazing, honest, and experienced plumber that you can depend on with any plumbing issues! We have called him several times in the past 2 years with emergency situations (i.e. water leaks to drain blockages) and within few hours he was always able to fix the problems right away. Every time, he diagnosed the source of the problem fast and quickly resolved it. He is very professional, ethical, and genuinely a good person. I called Scottco to come and resolve the foul smell issue with one of my bathrooms. Phil arrived on time, found and repaired the problem and explained exactly what he was doing and why. He was professional, courteous and friendly. I have no idea if the amount charged was appropriate (who cares really, when the smell was so bad), but seemed reasonable to me.
