Unfortunately Scott Seib plumbing went downhill after one of their employees Brandon left. Brandon had done almost a dozen projects for us over 5 years - he was professional and talented. I would not recommend this business if you have a mask requirement (unvaccinated young children, immune compromised family member, etc.). Our father in law had a lung transplant and is on anti-rejection meds and so we require masked service since we provide care for him multiple days a week. Brandon never had an issue with this, and was kind about it....but the owners of this business do have an issue, and don't communicate this. When our hot water heater was short cycling, Scott showed up with the replacement part (after 10 days and email reminders) and then literally stormed right out in anger taking the part with him - no conversation, just ""I don't need to deal with this"" Well neither do I, happy to take my business elsewhere.

We have used Scott many times, over many years. From major to minor plumbing issues, we've always found them to be very competent and honest. There are times you just have to throw in the towel and replace things and some of the reviews here don't seem to recognize that. They are our go to plumber.

Extremely high quality work, and I love the fact that they commit to getting things right, or will come back to fix it.
I have used them for hot water heater replacement, bathroom remodeling, and various other repairs, very satisfied with each results.
I wish I knew that they can fix the steam heating system, or I could have used them to fix our inefficient and noisy heating system in our old house.

Scott and his staff installed a new gas-fired boiler several years ago and has maintained it since. It's been working wonderfully. They also helped us fix one of the radiators that was a bit noisy. Scott and company has been highly dependable and honest. I would recommend them to anyone.

I called Scott Seib because my shower was leaking. BIG MISTAKE. He took the shower apart and told me he needed a part he wasn't sure he could obtain, and he'd call me back the next week to let me know. He never called back -- and I realized after he left that I could no longer control the temperature on the shower faucet. When I called to ask him to fix it, his receptionist went NUTS on me, cursing at me and telling me I was crazy if I thought Scott gave a crap about my old shower. Seriously???!!!

I had Scott Seib Plumbing and Heating install a water heater for me last week after ours died. They were very helpful answering all of my questions over the phone and were able to send a plumber out later that day to install the new water heater. Can't go very long without hot water when you've got toddlers in the house!!

I thought the price was reasonable and the plumber who came to install the water heater was courteous and timely. I would totally call them in a pinch again!!

I always try to support local businesses even if they may be more expensive and you usually get what you pay for. NOT in this case. They are know to charge excessive prices which I would not mind but the materials and workmanship was very poor. They hung piping with scraps of speaker wire they found in my crawl space and substituted cheap plastic piping for the copper piping they replaced. They also replaced the chrome plated filler pipe at my toilet with braided flexible hosing just to save a few dollars in material and labor. They also tracked mud throughout my house. Not typical service for a premium cost Plumber.

I called with a faucet problem in my kitchen. The company sent a plumber to fix it. $175 later, the faucet still leaks and they told me that I needed a new unit. When I asked for a refund, they said the money was to pay for the plumbers time to fix the unit, which he didn't do.

When I call a plumber with a problem, I expect someone who can recognize a problem and fix it to arrive, not someone who will charge me to fix the problem incorrectly and then tell me I need to spend another $500 to fix it correctly.
