After just buying and moving in to our new home, we wanted to find a good, dependable and reputable HVAC company that would provide us with reliable service and competitive rates. We located a company nearby and had them come out to service our system. We also signed up for their service contract, which provides us with two system services per year as well as a 10% discount on any parts needed. The two techs that came out were very friendly, courteous and professional and were quite informative on offering suggestions for our unit. So glad we chose Scott Plumbing and Heating for our HVAC and plumbing needs.

Scott replaced my hot water heater. The office staff and the technicians were all polite, informative, and professional. Way too many excuses with this place!! Just don't bother, save your time, money and aggravation and just call someone else if you want reliable service as well as a service tech that SPEAKS ENGLISH!!! If you are paying by the hour you don't need someone that doesn't understand the language fumbling around with diagnostic work! Condescending kid at the office also gave a ton of excuses...what a joke!!!!!!

Scott's Plumbing & Heating gets 5 stars. I would give them 10 stars if I could! The 23 year old HVAC system in our church failed early Saturday morning, June 23 2018, and we decided to purchase a new system. I called at 7:45 am on Monday, June 25 2018, and Shawn Scott showed up within an hour to give me an estimate on options for a new system. I called three other HVAC companies on the same day. Two of them never returned my calls and the other said they could not come out for an estimate for at least three weeks. I had Scott's estimate in hand on Tuesday afternoon, June 26 2018, and signed a contract the next day. On Friday, 29 June 2018, Scott's suffered a devastating fire which gutted the office and showroom. On Tuesday, July 3 2018, Scott's installed our new system!! So, less than one week from signing the contract and after suffering a devastating loss in a fire, Scott's installed our new system when no other company in the area could even manage to show up for an estimate due to the high volume of service calls they were experiencing as a result of the excessively high temperatures. WOW! Customer service does not get any better than this! You rock, Shawn Scott! Thank you!

They agreed to install the mini-split I acquired over the internet. They did a good job. The heat function was broken on installation and I paid to have that fixed. Then, they told me (reason unknown) that they were not longer going to service me. Good luck to you if you use them...

Scott Plumbing is A+. This past summer, July 2017, they installed a new HVAC system in our condo. It was a difficult job. Scott Plumbing was timely and professional in every aspect. The installation is perfect and passed county inspection with flying colors. The inspector even commented on what a great job it is. My husband and I highly recommend their services.

I bought an old house in New Bern that came with plumbing problems. In the space of two months I hired them several times. The biggest problem was that the sewer drain backed up into the house. I called Scott Plumbing who twice sent guys here who wasted time and fixed nothing. One of them left the tool he needed an hour away in Oriental, drove there to get it, came back to my house and still couldn't solve the problem. I was charged a high fee for all his time including his drive to Oriental.They never did bring their rooter. I tried to discuss this with Mr. Scott but he never returned my calls. When I called for the third time his receptionist told me that he said until I was willing to dig up and replace the whole sewer line from the house to the street they could do nothing for me. I called the City of New Bern. They sent a crew within a few days who resolved the problem by removing roots on the ""city side"" of the sidewalk. They began in my front yard, though, and replaced pipe from there to the street. They charged me nothing. I'll never do business with Scott Plumbing again.
