I was in need of a plumber to repair an outside faucet. I turned to the community groups on Facebook looking for recommendations. Wanted to avoid the large companies as have had bad experiences in the past.

In the Bartlett community group 3 people recommended Scott. I e mailed him explaining what I need done. He responded back quickly with an answer and a apology that he could not get to it until tomorrow.

When Scott arrived to start the work he realized it was something out of the ordinary and instead of saying that he couldn't or didn't want to do it, he explained the options to me. Once a decision was made Scott said it would take a second trip out to finish the job and he was very apologetic about not being able to finish it in one day even though it was not his fault but the fault of a previous contractor.

Scott arrived the following day to complete the job. He explained that because the work involved was more detailed the fee would be more then quoted, once again apologizing even thought he had nothing to do with the initial screw up.

I highly recommend Scott to anyone looking for a professional to plumber and person. Scott has earned all my future plumbing business.

Found Scott through a Google search of plumbers in my area and I couldn't be happier with the service. What started as a quick house call to provide an estimate on a leaky tub faucet turned into a same day replacement of the entire fixture at a reasonable cost. In an out in a little over 2 hours (including a trip to Home Depot).

Not only was the craftsmanship impeccable but Scott was just an all around great guy from start to finish. Very professional and personable. He didn't even mind me looking over his shoulder or explaining certain steps so I can learn a thing or two.

I had to write another review about Marhofke Plumbing because honestly Scott has bailed me out quite a few times. This last go around was because my 5 year old kitchen faucet was just coming unglued. Imagine my surprise when I found out it was because it had been installed improperly. After Scott replaced it, not only did it work well but the ease of how it worked was unbelievable. I had struggled with it all those years and didn't know. Scott of course gave the previous plumber the benefit of the doubt but there was no doubt in my mind. One knows what he's doing and many others do not.

So if you are in his Bartlett, Streamwood, Hanover Park area don't even look for anyone else.
This is the tradesman you want.

Scott called us back within an hour and came out the same day(amazing). We had a leaky 20year old delta bath tub spout. We had 2 options cut through a wall and replace the faucet for $400 plus or I could call delta, on Scott's recommendation and hope they still had a replacement part. On his 2nd trip to our house Scott replaced the parts and charged us a whooping $ 90...yahoo Scott is honest fair and a nice guy to boot, not to mention one heck of a plumber.

We called Scott in the afternoon around 4 and he got back to us really quick. Within 2 hours. We were able to schedule an appt for the next morning. Scott was very punctual, friendly and professional. Although our water problem didn't present itself when Scott was there, he attempted to try to fix the issue. He was also able to fix another minor issue I've been having with my shower water temperature. He charges reasonable and made aware that his hours could be flexible. Scott has provided great service and I would highly recommend him!

Scott has been doing work on our farm for well over a decade when he worked for another company. He is polite, patient, and kind. His rates are very reasonable, and he stands by his work. I'm also a tradesman, so I know what good word of mouth means to a small businessman, and he works his butt off to keep that high level of satisfaction.
