After going to a big box store 11 years ago to get a hot water heater installed, the installer wanted to charge me extra to remove, and to construct a base. I told the installer to stop work, ASAP and please leave my garage.

Frustrated, I looked across the street, and there was a Scott Harrison truck, just completing a job. I walked over and asked the technician what it would cost to install a hot water heater, and remove an old pedestal. He said he had to call his boss, to get the price correct, and came over to my garage 5 mins later and quoted me a price that was exactly the same as the big box, but there were no strings, or no up selling. I scheduled a hot water tank install on the spot.

A few years later my wife and I moved to another condo, and the first thing we did was call Scott Harrison Plumbing to look at our existing AC & Hot Water heater. A day or so later Scott Harrison himself came out to our house, and looked at our condo, and said, yes we were badly in need of an AC unit ( it was the original unit from when the condo had been built in 1972 ) he suggested a few options, one of which was a slightly bigger system than what was installed, but would help us save money as it was much more efficient, and gave us the ability to run the furnace with out the compressor blowing, to bring in the outside air, and still stay cool. We also needed a new hot water heater badly. Scott installed the new Compressor and Furnace unit himself, and it still works very very well, and keeps us cool as well as keeping the cost of electricity bill reasonable.

Jump ahead another 10 years, 2 toilet installs, and an instant hot, we called Scott Harrison to help us with a bathroom remodel so we can sell our condo. Once again Scott came out and gave us an estimate, and it was priced very reasonably, and he did not try to up sell, he kept our needs in mind while still making the bathrooms presentable, and looking new.

We are in our new house, and once again we called out Scott Harrison to check out a leaky bathtub, and to install our newer dishwasher. The technician was professional, and the job was done right the first time. We will be adding a new bathroom, and a powder room to our new house as well as a kitchen remodel, and we will be calling Scott Harrison Plumbing and Heating to do the plumbing upgrades.

I have to say without hesitation, in our relationship over the past 14 years with Scott Harrison Plumbing and Heating has been excellent and we recommend him to anyone who asks.

We have used Scott Harrison Plumbing for the last 10 plus years for various plumbing needs. Scott and his team are true professionals and we trust no one else to handle our plumbing! They just installed a new water softener and we couldn't be happier!! Totally recommend them and refer them to our friends and family!

Scott Harrison was literally the only plumber (of 6 others) who figured-out how to re-pipe my house while causing the least amount of damage. Also, the price was very reasonable. His company has done work on my neighbor's house and they too think he does great work.

I recommend his company over all others!!!

I called Scott Harrison Plumbing because I heard good things about them. The plumber I got was very nice and polite however I feel I was ripped off big time! He snaked the kitchen sink---did not have to go on the roof---and was out of here in about 30 minutes. He went into his truck to write the proposal (privately) and in the end charged me 428.00!!! Granted, I should have asked the cost prior to the work but I trusted it would be decent. Upon his leaving I read the copy of my bill and he wrote across the bottom ""NO GUARANTEE ON STOPPAGE""! I will never use them again due to the appearance of sneakiness and he wrote on the bill that he had to ""tarp the kitchen floor and under the sink""...why did I have to pay for that? I have NEVER had a plumber charge me for laying down protection on my floor. There was a 59.00 diagnostic charge and 75.00 charge to snake, an additional charge for 369.00 was added to ""drop tarp and snake"". HORRIBLE!!! NEVER USE THEM!!!!!

Scheduled an appointment, they gave a two hour window for arrival, I received a courtesy call the day prior to the appointment, a Serice Pro named Chris showed up within the two hour window, I was greeted by name when Chris arrived. Chris diagnosed the problem with our tankless water heater. He called the maker of the unit & confirmed with them what he thought the problem was. He quoted what the repairs would be. After Chris removed the failing component, he took the time to show me the old component compared to the new component. It was obvious, to me, that both Chris & the manufacturer where correct. Chris completed the repairs as described. Chris was friendly, respectful of our property & left the area he worked in as he found it. He kept me informed as to the charges & got my written approval before continuing.
I found Chris a pleasure to work with. I used them last year & that service call was done in the same manner. I was a little suprised that the cost of the service call was not combined with the cost of repairs. The failing component was under warranty. When comparing the amount of labor time versus the cost it seemed a bit high, but then again I didn't shop around. In my opinion this is the way a service call should go. Would I call them again, absolutely.

My fam has been using Scott's plumbing for years now. Very prompt, reliable and professionally oriented service. There prices are always very decent so we don't feel like we are getting ripped off like other places. There was never a problem they couldn't tackle and never a price quoted that they exceeded. I recommend them for prompt quality service!

Thanks for the quick 4/9 response to my 2/17 post. I guess Google is a certified plumber and heater specialist too. You totally missed the point. In the future I would not respond to a past customer, when your people did not give me the right diagnoses. I can say that because I GOOGLED the issue and fixed it myself. It is not completely about the $59 but the issue I took care of it myself. Actually I should thank you, if ur ""certified techs"" could of figured it out then I might of not learned how to do it myself. As for the FULLY stocked trucks, the certified tech told me i need a new burner. Told me to order the burner from the water heater manufacturer, and then call him to have it installed. Well in short I still have the same burner and got it re-lit. Only cost me $59 dollars and a couple of cold showers. In the future if you try to commit on a bad responses, next time asks the customer what happened and how could your company improve. Sorry for the bad review but it was earned.
Thank you?

After fixing our clogged up kitchen sink, Scott took the time to show my two and a half and four years old sons his truck which was FULL of well-organized tools. The boys of course were very impressed, especially after he lifted them up and down on the lift gate. That was when I noticed the slogan on his truck, ""It's like doing business with an old friend"". Yep, very true, I felt like an old friend had just visited and just happened to also fixed our plumbing problem. He was nice, SINCERE, yet very professional. By the way, today is Saturday, but they do not charge extra for Saturday service. It is safe to say that our family has found a new friend and plumber for life.

Two years ago I had a water heater that went out. Scott Harrison Plumbing came twice to fix it. Finally I was told they could not guarantee a unit they did not install. They suggested I put a new water heater in that they could guarantee. They installed a ""AO Smith"" 50 gallon heater. I was told this was a great water heater with a six year guarantee. Now only two years later I am without hot water for the third time!
Scott Harrison could come today for the third time to try and fix the problem only thing is after reading all the horror stories online about ""AO Smith"" water heaters I know the problem will never be fixed and I will continue to pay for each service call made to my house as well as lose money from my time off of work. I called four other plumbers and was told ""We don't install AO Smith water heaters because of the problems with them."" My question is why would a good plumbing company like Scott Harrison suggest and install such a poor quality water heater as AO Smith? Today I am paying another plumber to install a Bradford White water heater. The one Scott Harrison should have installed two years ago!

I have three words for you; bait and switch! Give you one price over the phone, charge you more when they're in your bathroom and there's a leak that needs fixing. VERY DISAPPOINTED. I would not call this vendor if you're looking for a business who cares about their customers, or prides itself on integrity and clarity...they do not.
