Extortion is the name of Scott English Plumbing. They are liars! Mary-Ann was so nice on the phone when I tried to schedule a plumber to come fix our leaking shower on a Sunday. She cheerfully warned me that there is a $250 service fee, which scared me for a second, but she explained it three different times saying that if the service ends up costing $225, it will still be $250. To me, that means that it is $250 minimum and that amount gets applied to the total. Well, Mike showed up and quoted me $560! He had been here two weeks prior to fix the other bathroom that had a similar problem, albeit a different and more common faucet. That service cost $215.

As it turns out, the $250 is in addition to whatever it actually costs to fix something. The $250 is just for him to show his face!

He very rudely walked out and told me to call someone else then. He wouldn't even talk to me about what Mary-Ann had told me on the phone.

Scott English Plumbing just wasted my time and left me with no resolution to the problem! When I called Mary-Ann back, she changed her tune, incorrectly claiming that she never said the $250 would get applied to a service. Once again, Scott English Plumbing is full of lying extortionists and I will never use them again, nor will I recommend them to anyone ever!

I didn't hire Scott English my hoa did to repair a main line water valve. The tech Diego is really good guy and very helpful. However this company didn't have diego prepared to do the job. He did not have the proper tool to turn off the water at the street. They had to call the city to shut off the water. To Scott English please make sure your vans are completely outfitted with all the tools needed to do the job including shutting water service off at the street.

We had a disconnection of a main water pipe, late at night. We had to turn off the water inside and outside. We called Scott English Plumbing early in the morning. Stephen Ratanapratum came out and diagnosed the problem. He repaired the pipe. Water was restored! Fantastic customer service!

Shannon S. working diligently and resourcefully for two days to fix a gas leak that had been discovered near our meter. He was able to get us to where our gas could be turned back on by the end of the second day. We take gas for granted but when it's turned off it is a big imposition. Congrats to Shannon and Scott English Plumbing for solving our problem in an expeditious manner.

I contacted Scott English Plumbing after seeing their truck outside my house to see if they could offer me an estimate on installing a new kitchen faucet. They were very friendly and offered to send someone out same day to provide a free estimate and told me that they could even do same day work if needed! I told them I saw their truck outside my house and they sent Brett F over after completing his other job nearby. Within an hour Brett gave me my estimate and installed my brand new faucet leaving zero mess and even offering some pointers along the way. He was incredibly friendly and trusting and I would definitely recommend this company to friends and family.

Nate Romero came help is to check our broken water heater today, he was super helpful and informative! It's was a Friday afternoon and it was a lot of traffic, he came and was very patient with of our questions! I would recommend to find them for help !!!

We used there services a few months ago. I will say they were very upfront on the pricing and the services. After they completed the job I question them about how long it took the Manager Ed was very concerned so he sent a senior plumber out to inspect the services and found there was a few things that were not done correctly reported back to the manager which scheduled out another plumber to complete the job. And then today we had them back out due to a secondary leak Nate was very polite very professional and within two hours had the job complete gave me very upfront pricing And made sure everything was all nice and clean when he was done again thank you Scott English Plumming for a great service

I am extremely pleased with the service provided today by Nate Romero from Scott English Plumbing. Nate responded within an hour to an urgent call I made to his office requesting a quick assessment and estimate for two micro leaks in my plumbing that was recently repaired, but had gone undetected by other plumbers. After assessing the newly discovered leak situation Nate provided me with a free written estimate detailing multiple repair options. I scheduled the repair which had to be timed in conjunction with ongoing restoration schedules related to the previous leak. Nate and his office were very flexible when the repair had to be rescheduled several times. When the scheduling finally got locked in, Nate arrived as scheduled and got right to work on two subtle micro leaks in my very old corroded plumbing that required a reroute from copper to PEX. After encountering more complications due to the corrosion, he quickly altered his repair strategy without skipping a beat, and still finished the job in less time than we expected. When he finished the repairs it just looked great ... if you could even say that about plumbing. And of course everything worked fine with no need for rework and no sign of a leak. Nate certainly went the extra mile to address the potential for future leaks in a badly corroded manifold of old copper plumbing. He was very thorough and meticulous with the repair and clean-up. I never got a feeling that he was rushing or compromising quality for the queue, and when he was completed, I felt very confident that the leak was permanently fixed. Nate is a great asset to the 'Scott English Plumbing' company and will certainly contribute to furthering the company's excellent reputation. Great work Nate, and kudos to Scott English Plumbing for knowing how to select and keep a great employee!

These guys are crooks. I had them install a garbage disposal and it worked great. When I ran my dishwasher it didn't drain after so I had to have a company come out to figure out what was wrong. That company came out and stuck their hand in the garbage disposal and said that the cap to drain the dishwasher was never removed. They charged $125 for less than 5 minutes of work. I called Scott English plumbing to get reimbursed for the $125 since they obviously didn't perform the install correctly. At first it seemed like they were more than willing to help. I dealt with Edward Urrunaga who is the dispatch manger according to his email. He had me email him a copy of the invoice from the repair company that charged me $125. He confirmed he received that and will get with the owner. That was two weeks ago and he is no longer responding. Every time I call he is busy. Horrible customer service and it is obvious the owner could care less. I will be reporting them to the BBB as well. I also had them come out and quote me on a hot water heater replacement. I got a few bids and they well $1200 more than the other two bids I got. I do not recommend doing any business with them!
