Scott was the third plumber who came out to my condo in Alexandria, near Shirlington. I had just bought this condo and there were issues with the faucets and toilets. He wasn't the cheapest but he is the one who got the rest of the job done. Scott rebuilt a leaking toilet and fixed it after another plumber couldn't quite figure it out. He replaced a faucet on the sink and quickly figure out how to pull out the sink to get access and then reseal it, after another plumber wanted to have me get a carpenter to cut out access from the bottom.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! Requested that someone come out to get an estimate on a job. This guy shows up (Scott) asked him if he had footies (hardwood floors and new carpet) says, ""No,"" Offered that I would get him some baggies to put on his shoes. In front of my young son, this unprofessional, rude 'person' says, ""I won't wear them."" I explained about the carpet and hardwood floors. Says, ""No, not wearing them. Don't care."" Needless to say SHOCKED! My son just stood there looking at me in utter disbelief! The serviceman Scott then opens the door and LEAVES!
I looked at my son and said, ""Are you kidding me?"" This man then opens up my front door, puts his head in, yells ""NO!"" and slams my front door, gets in his truck and leaves!!!!
Unbelievable! HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT USING THIS COMPANY!

My office had a leak and called upon Scott's services. He charged over $200 for one hour of work just to diagnose the problem and do no work. His repair estimate was over double what other, similarly rated companies were going to charge for the same repair. We are a non-profit serving the community and he still refused to negotiate on the price. He was not kind or polite to our employees. We would not recommend him to anyone.

We have used Scott for years on two houses. Great plummer. Friendly, clean, responsive and reasonable. HIGHLY recommend them.

Called and talked to one of the employees. Sounded like he was keen on taking advantage of potential customers. Mentioned a flat rate of $305.00 to install a new toilet!! That is quite a bit higher than other equally rated companies. Check around before you go with this company.

My sisters in law hired plumbers at Scott A. Gallagher, Inc. who moved all of the plumbing in their basement to set up their new bathroom. They had nothing but great things to say about them. I hired them to clear a nasty clog in our utility sink. They showed up on time, they did a great job and they cleaned up after themselves. They were reasonably priced and I would definitely hire them again. So would the in laws.
