Schumer Bros. started in 1948 as a partnership between brothers Norbert and Leon Schumer. In 1958, the business incorporated, with Norbert as president, Leon as vice-president, and Donald Wibbenmeyer as secretary-treasurer.

The business has evolved from its humble beginnings in a garage basement to our present location at 821 N. Kingshighway, Perryville, MO. The current team is a dedicated group focused on providing top-notch sales, service, and installation. We offer a wide range of products and services, including plumbing, heating, air conditioning, duct cleaning, fireplaces, and gas grills. Our showroom features several display units for your convenience.

We service all brands of heating and cooling equipment, but we specialize in high-efficiency Trane and Water Furnace products. We stand behind our products with a complete customer satisfaction guarantee. Over the years, we have learned that quality doesn’t just cost; it pays!

Since then, we have expanded from our original garage basement location to our current site at 821 N. Kingshighway, Perryville, MO. Over the years, many of Norbert and Leon's children have joined the business, with Gary, Norbert's eldest son, becoming president after Norbert retired in 1985. In 1990, Leon retired and now enjoys life on the farm. Doug Schumer, Gary's son, serves as the current vice-president, while Sharon Moonier, Norbert's daughter, holds the position of secretary-treasurer.
