We had a wonderful experience with Schrader Plumbing. They were incredibly friendly and helpful when I called. They were able to schedule someone to come out the next day which was a Saturday. When our plumber, James, arrived he assessed what was going on and was very thorough with explaining it to me. The pricing was very fair and considering the work done it was a great value. James began the work and kept me informed with everything he was doing while he was doing it. He was very competent and efficient with what he was doing. I appreciated how personable he was as well. I'm very thankful we had James as our plumber. I would absolutely recommend Schrader Plumbing and they will be my first (and only) phone call for any plumbing needs in the future.

My location says CA but I live in DFW Metroplex.
I asked them to come and fix a bathroom sink where the pipes under the sink had a slow leak. The person on the phone said they will assess what needs to be done and provide an estimate at no cost.
When they got here they wouldn't even put their clip board down and look at the sink/leak unless I agree to pay $195.
This is my second bad experience with this company (I didn't post a comment on the first one). I will not use them again.
I hope this post helps others select there plumbing company.

I had a old water bladder that you attach to a hose and insert into a clean out that had broken off about 10' into the drain, and it was completely plugged up. Andy showed up when he was scheduled for and used a auger to try to remove it, but it was too stuck. He came out this morning and used their water jet machine to clean the drain pipe like it was new. Blasted that bladder and 50 years of gunk down the drain. Amazingly Great job!!!! If you have a difficult problem and need someone with multiple options to finish the job, I HIGHLY recommend Schrader Plumbing. They won't quit until it is working. Thank you so much Andy and Tom, You guys definitely know what you're doing!!!!!

We called for an estimate on several plumbing issues, and they reacted promptly. They came to the house promptly. We are not yet ready to have the jobs done, but they will our first choice once we plan to execute the work. I highly recommend this company for all the plumbing needs.

Wes came out to replace an outdoor hose faucet. He was professional and offered fair pricing. The company was very responsive and thorough. I would definitely recommend.

Had an electrical problem with the well. The company doesn't do anything with wells. When I called and asked they said they have a guy that is good with wells. He came by, stripped a few cables and added wire nuts. Maybe 10 mins of work and I'm being generous. $225 and it didn't fix the issue. They told me it's an electrical issue and to call an electrician. I have worked with this company a few times but this will be the last. They care way more about the mighty buck than actually providing good, honest service. I asked if the water refilled the pressure tank after being used and he lied and said it did. Once they left and we used some water, it didn't come back. Hired another company the next day that replaced the control box. So yes, it was electrical, but don't lie to the customer that your guy knows wells. Just say you can't help. Or at the very least collect a FAIR fee for driving out, offering an opinion and call it a day. Horrible service. Don't use.

Update: Manager called to refund $100 of the $225 fee charged.

Came back to warranty fix an issue with the install. They did a great job fixing the issue without question and did it very quickly.

I am writing as a matter of what I consider to be very questionable practices. I had them do a small repair last year and called on them for another job last week. What seemed to be a small job. My initial problem turned into a large job. Deciding to bid the job and get a second opinion, what was stated as my problem by Schrader, was not in fact the issue. I have written and requested a refund and explained the findings. I have not heard anything from them. I have not reached out to the plumbing board for assistance. Thinking I had found a reputable, local plumber has turned out to be not the case. I will not recommend Schrader for anything.

Purchased this house 15 years ago in Hurst, Texas and have had continual plumbing problems. Due to old cast iron pipes, roots and shifting clay veins in sandy soil I've spent a small fortune on rooter services, along with licensed plumbers. Everyone had a different opinion. With the latest blockage resulting in clean water flooding part of the house. Being sick and tired of mopping and restricting rules when and how to use water, I read the reviews from several sources and found Schrader Plumbing. They're great! On time, professional, courteous, organized, informative , understanding and able to resolve problems. They know what they're doing! They have a great team. Gustavo, lead licensed plumber and Tom, business manager were great to work with. New pipes to the street and under the house in three days from start to finish. ...Is a blessing. Its worth it.
