I was told after the fact they only warranted their work for 30 days. Was told it was on the bottom of invoice. The phone assistant was totally rude. Even after using them for thousands of dollars of work I feel I was treated shabbily. Will never use this company again.

Schrade Plumbing showed up and installed a new water heater for us and Joey did all the work by himself. A Master Plumber, whom I would recommend for anyone. They have been in business for over 50 years and that means a lot to me.

Called about a busted water line in our front yard, they were an hour early from the set appoint time. Joey was excellent, fixed the leak, cleaned the mess and explained everything and the total was less than I expected. My family has used them for as long as I can remember... at least 20 years and the service has always been the same. Highly recommend and will only use them.

I would recommend Schrade Plumbing in a heartbeat! They treated me right and did a fantastic job on my repair.

Our house was damaged by the tornado in October, and a tree fell across our gas line and damaged it. Schrade was recommended to me by a neighbor after I told her another company couldn't come out for a week. Schrade came out THE SAME DAY to assess the damage. They gave me the best estimate of all the plumbers I saw and were the nicest, most professional people. I never felt like they were trying to take advantage of me or overcharge for the repairs.

They got my gas line replaced, brought my appliance connections up to code, and replaced my water heater in two days. I have an older house, so all of these things were a little challenging as new appliances don't always fit into older homes.

They did all this work for the best price, the quickest response, and with a fantastic attitude. I was treated like family and greatly appreciate the work that they did. Thank you!

Schrade Plumbing installed a new 50-gallon water heater at our home on April 5, 2019, charging us $1,705. That was slightly less than 4 months ago. For the past week, the water heater has stopped heating water, so I called Schrade yesterday and was told the heater and parts are warrantied for one year; labor, on the other hand, is only warrantied for 30 days, and to have them come out and repair our brand new water heater that they installed would cost us $30 for a service call and $100 per hour labor with a minimum of one hour labor charge, so $130 to come out and make their 4-month-old work right. A brand new water that broke in just under 4 months. Ridiculous. Since the parts are warrantied for a year regardless of who works on the tank, I'm calling another plumber to come fix the tank and won't every hire Schrade Plumbing again!

I have some elderly friends who are suffering health problems and high medical bills. When I saw that they had some plumbing problems, I insisted that they use my credit card to get them fixed.

I went back later, and nothing was fixed.

The upstairs bath had a one-handled faucet and was dripping fast. The "plumber" told them to order a new set, and he'd come back and install it.

I looked closely at it, and couldn't believe my eyes. The faucet was turned all the way to the left. All he needed to do to stop the drip was to turn it all the way to the right!! IDIOT! It took me 10 seconds to fix it.

He left them with no kitchen faucet at all. He told them to get one under the warranty and he'd come back. I fixed it with a 10 cent washer. She'd been washing dishes in the bathroom. The other problems they had received substandard fixes too.

There are plenty of 5 star fake reviews on this site, but this review is real.

These people are horrible. Go elsewhere.

I had a plumbing emergency (gas leak, had to have atmos turn off gas) and had called several other companies to get it remedied. Most of those told me the soonest they couldn't get there till after the Holiday weekend (Memorial Day). I got one of the big name plumbing companies to give a quote for repair and was quoted an outrageous amount and was told the best case was to have my gas back on after the weekend. With a family who needs gas to take showers and wash clothes, this wouldn't work, but I didn't think I'd have any other option due to the holiday weekend. I then called Schrade, who provided outstanding service in spite of the short notice. The repair was completed in a few hours and I paid a QUARTER of what the big name company quoted me...they're the ones you always see on channel 4! Needless to say I was very pleased with Schrade and I would strongly recommend them to anyone in the area!

Abandoned us when our first floor was again flooded.
Two weeks after they "cleared" line from home to street, it backed up again flooding the first floor (hardwood) again. I called frantic and the very first thing the woman told me was they don't guarantee their work. What? Then, they were booked until the end of the next week. Suggested I find someone else. I did, and OUR new plumber found clogged line with large roots within one foot of the drain opening. Now we know why they don't guarantee their work.
