This is the second time having help from Schoofs, and I can't say enough how good these guys are at their craft.

I called Tuesday with a really backed up kitchen sink. I'm pretty handy and tried gallons of liquid plumber and a snake and had a big mess- I worked on it for about a day and a half with huge bath towel's soaked from leaking liquid plumber and me plunging (from the garbage disposal that wasn't designed to be filled with liquid plumber over 18 hours). I also tried boiling water multiple times to no avail.

Schoof's said they would be there the next day in the morning. The very polite scheduling person called me in the morning saying they were running about one hour behind, which wasn't a big deal.

Kevin and his assistant arrived and promptly put down protective material in case of any mess. They had the kitchen unclogged in 15 minutes with their tools and knowledge of the plumbing system. A bathroom sink was also clogged, and this one was a little more complicated for them to solve, but it took about a half hour. They used multiple professional power tools and worked quickly and as a team. All done start to finish in just under 1 hour and worth every penny. Next time, I'm calling them first. The kitchen and bathroom sink now drains like new (it's never been this good since I moved in)

In the past, they replaced a large portion of a main drain pipe that was cracked from age in my basement. They did a great job and it's holding up perfectly after 2.5 years.

Highly recommended. Very trustworthy to fix the problem and not try to sell you anything you don't need (they have all the right tools and parts should something be needed). Excellent work ethic and very polite.

We had a toilet that needed to be replaced in a bathroom that required a special size toilet due to space restrictions. As I was in a hurry I ordered a toilet on Amazon. Before it arrived Schoofs came over, looked at the specs form the internet, and assured me they would be able to install when arrived. In addition, they looked at a few other non-emergency issues in the house and gave me an honest assessment of what could wait or was not cost efficient at this point to pursue. Very honest overall. When the toilet arrived they came the next AM and had it installed within an hour or two and at or below the price originally quoted. Communication was always great as well. Thank you again.

Frank was very knowledgeable about old and new fixtures. He took the time to explain everything clearly and taught me a lot about how my systems work. He was able to accomplish 3 projects in one hour of charge (I think he was here longer but only charged me for 1 hour). He was kind and polite. I would use Frank again!

Frank arrived within the stated time window and got right to work. He was super polite and professional. He caught a couple mistakes made by the previous owners' handyman and was able to correct them on the spot. He had all parts needed for the projects with him on his truck.

Fortunately we have not had to use a plumber in the past except to clean the lateral from the house to the street. Usually my husband can take care of minor plumbing issues. I called Schoofs after he spent 3 evenings and many hours trying to clean out the kitchen drain that was totally plugged with the pasta noodles that I sent down the disposal. I called early on a Friday morning and the owner answered right away, gave me a quote, and fit me in after another appointment that was already scheduled. Rick, the plumber called right before he came and was professional, efficient, neat (put down a tarp) and most importantly resolved the issue (noodles expand.) I then asked him if he would look at the kitchen faucet that barely ran water. Again he fixed the problem and explained what caused it (a diverter cartridge for the sprayer was clogged up with small bits of metal released from our 1920's water pipes.) And the quote was accurate:1 hour for $200.00. It was so worth it!!! Thanks to Schoofs & we will use them again!

It's hard to find a decent plumber that acts professional. I live in a nice quiet neighborhood off of Lake dr. and the plumber they sent to my house yelled at my neighbor for having her dog off leash, which was on accident. Then he drove off like a bat out of hell with kids everywhere.

He did an adequate install of a water heater, but I won't call them again.

We had a minor leak from the base of our toilet. We found Schoofs on Yelp and, based upon the 5-star reviews, we gave them a call. Paul arrived on time and quickly repaired our toilet. Because it took less than 15 minutes, he contacted his manager and was authorized to waive the 1-hour minimum work charge. We greatly appreciate his efforts and highly recommend Schoofs.

My mom called me today and told me she needed a plumber to fix her water heater. She asked if I knew of a decent plumber. Not knowing of one off hand, I came here to yelp for help. Ha- that rhymes. Anyway, Schoofs seemed the best bet and I gave her the number. Hoping for the best, I waited to hear if she could get a same-day appointment and if so, how it went. Thankfully it turned out VERY well. Mr. Schoofs himself came out and took care of the problem. The price was very reasonable and he was very professional. My mom was very happy with the results and even asked me to come here onto yelp to give a raving review. (She doesn't get online much). My parents have had bad experiences with other plumbing companies, so it was great to see her so satisfied with Schoofs. I'd definitely recommend them!
