Called them Thursday afternoon because my hot water heater died. They were supposed to come on Friday to look at the job to hopefully do something for me on Monday. Waited all day Friday, only to get a phone call at 3 to tell they couldn't do anything for me at least through all of next week. Left me no time to call anyone else. Very unprofessional.

The plumber worked on a broken toilet - it would not flush - and a hot water heater that was beeping a warning sound. He spent under an hour and at the end of that time, reassured me that he fixed both problems. He stated that the toilet would now flush and only had a part out of place and that the hot water heater just needed the filter rinsed, which he did as I watched. I asked why the hot water heater was still beeping a warning sound after he washed the filter and he said the beeping would soon end, it just had to reset. He also assured me the toilet would work. I never checked the toilet because I trusted him. One hour later, the toilet stopped working. The hot water heater never stopped beeping. The next day, it was clear that neither problem was fixed. I called and complained, asked about a work guarantee, and was told that they had done their job, would not do anything to further resolve the issues, and would still bill me. I am amazed that they took no responsibility for never having really fixed anything. Clearly, I paid for them for nothing. I understand they spent time but that time was worthless to me. They didn't even offer to discuss how to work things out. I do not recommend using this company and will never call them again.

Slow work and a huge bill! The overall work was fair, not fantastic, but the fact that it took him so long to complete the work (they bill hourly) meant that I paid extra because he was so slow. I liked the people at Schneider Plumbing but I will not use them again because I feel they really overcharged me for this work!

They were great! Called to relay my problem and they fit me in for the following day, even though I was a new customer. Not only did they arrive on time, but they fixed the problem AND cleaned up my whole system, not requiring another visit (and service call fee) to schedule maintenance! The technician even bothered to show me and explain what had gone wrong. They are my go-to plumbing and heating service from now on!

Bob, Leslie, Jeff and Ryan are all excellent, committed and professional. They are particularly good at working on older New England homes. They apply intelligence to their trade and pride in their work. As a regular customer of theirs for the past couple of years they've been responsive to all requests and very quick with urgent ones. They've been fair with their billing. A true asset for any property owner. Solid.

Replaced a leaking water heater for my apartment. Not easy either as it was installed in ceiling above closet. Brilliant builders thought it would be great to save space except when you have issue. The guys from Schneider handled the job and they cleaned up after themselves and were very professional. Thanks for the quick and quality work.

I gave been using Schneider Plumbing for decades. Nothing but positive things to say about them. If you are not a regular customer you may not get priority but as a regular customer I appreciate that I do in emergencies.
In fact, I was at a friend's house when they had a plumbing disaster (that ended up costing over $50K to fix due to flooding into the finished walkout basement) and Carl from Schneider ran right over to help when I called even though my friends aren't their customers!

Schneider Plumbing put in our new heating and air conditioning system, and also a water filter for the whole house. It took AGES to get anything scheduled or done. In April, I started the calls about the water filter, and it only was installed this past week--first week in June. The air con system has never really worked properly. Also, our dryer vent is incredibly LOUD, and faces the back yard. They seem to think I am being picky. Perhaps I am. Mainly, the service is slow and mediocre.

Called emergency service about a water heater problem on Saturday, received a prompt callback, excellent advice (saving me a $$ service call) and a follow-up call on Monday morning. Very good experience -- and they'd done a bigger job for me in the past, kitchen renovation stuff. Happy to recommend.
