I called for an appointment last week for a service call today between 11am-2pm. At 1:45pm, I called to inquire when the plumber would arrive. Esther, the scheduler said she would contact the plumber and call me back with an estimated time. At 3:15, I hadn't heard back from Esther nor had the plumber arrived. I called again and let Esther know I wasn't happy with the situation. She gave me all the typical replies indicative of poor service and no accountability- we're busy, the plumber had an emergency, etc. I know those things happen, all I wanted was to be kept informed since I made sure someone was home for them. When I told her I wasn't happy with her excuses, she told me I could go elsewhere. So that's what I'm doing. I cannot recommend this plumber due to the fact that they waste your time, are rude, and don't care if they make clients wait all day without updates. I should charge them for a missed service call.

My husband and I recently purchased a brand new home in the Wesley Chapel area and my kitchen sink collapsed the night before Thanksgiving. I was so upset when I called the builder construction manager and he told me there was nothing he could do. Someone recommended that I called Schleman and the manager was soooo nice he immediately sent Jose out to fix my sink until the granite company could come out. Jose and Schleman saved Thanksgiving for me and my family!!!

I was quoted $250 to snake the line and do a camera inspection. The guy came out and only did the camera inspection, he showed my husband the white paper blocking the line and told us to change the type of toilet paper we were using. He never cleaned the line and they still charged me $250. He was here for 45 minutes. I tried to explain this to the person who runs the office and she talked over me and gave me the run around. Do not use this company.

Julio with Schleman plumbing has been my go-to plumber for a few years now. He came highly recommended from my HOA president, unbeknownst to me they had so few Yelp stars! The bad reviews are quite surprising. Julio is a consummate professional with a vast knowledge of all things plumbing. My common issue is the kitchen sink, which typically needs attention once per year. Otherwise, odd jobs like fixing a toilet and replacing the PVC pipe to the outside water line. Both of which were completed timely and with perfection. I've heard plumbing can be super expensive and so far I can't complain about the bills. Emergencies are always pricier, so if you can wait for an appointment I would recommend it. Nothing but pleasant experiences overall.

I normally use RotoRooter for general plumbing needs, but their phone was out of order this time (?), so I got a recommendation from my son and Edies List for Schleman (note 2 plumbing outfits with this last name). We called and got an immediate appointment """"window"""" the next day and the plumber showed up in the early part. I just had 2 faucets leaking but both were so corroded I could not fix them myself with my tools. Josh quickly replaced the cartridge in one and cleaned it for future repairs. However the outside one I asked him to replace was so fused, he could not get it off the supply pipe without risk of breaking it inside the wall.....a major project. However with lots of WD-40, proper tools and skill, he disassembled it, replaced the washer and put it back in service....not even charging for the washer. With Edies 10% discount I paid only $117 for parts and one hour of labor. Good work, good deal, good service and good to recommend to others.

Terrible, rude, lying, angry employees. Had our upscale house built and Schleman Plumbing was the contracted plumbers. Within 3 months of closing, the toilets and showers started backing up into the house. I called immediately (Friday afternoon of course) and got a callback since it was after hours. They told me to open the cleanout closest to the house and let the sewage drain onto the lawn and they would be out Monday to check it out. I told her no, it's Easter weekend and we have a lot of people coming, I need it taken care of now. With a huff she agreed to send a plumber out right then. The plumber arrived around midnight, snaked the line and got it cleared. Good guy, unfortunately I don't recall his name. He happened to have the camera on his truck and decided to look at the drain line. Turns out there was a belly in the line which caused, and would continue to cause blockages. He told me to call Monday morning to set up a repair as the house was new and under warranty. Monday morning I called and talked to Esther, the owners daughter. Not only is this woman rude and condescending, talking as if she had a chip on her shoulder, she also told me that Schleman Plumbing didn't do the plumbing for our home (lie #1). I told her they did as I was out at the sight almost daily, saw them doing the work and also indicated that they were the plumbers listed on the permit. She replied """"I don't know what permit you're looking at but we didn't do the work."""" (Lie #2). I called my contractor who then has Schleman come out to assess the situation. They dig up the lawn in 1 spot and found the problem. Curious how they knew right were to dig. As it turns out, the issue was known by the plumbers and contractor before construction was finished but the plumber never fixed the problem after directed by the contractor to do so. I consider this lie #3. The most recent issue was with a leaking toilet. I had the contractor on the phone while Schleman employee Julio was here. Julio said the floor was uneven and my contractors response was that he wanted to come see what he was talking about. Julio became enraged, bad-mouthing the contractor, saying he only wanted to """"cover his ass"""". He was dragging the toilet over the floor, scratching tiles, slamming tools down, and complaining from then on. He set the toilet un-level, wrote on his work order that it was set properly, and said he would never be back. I had to pick up his trash as well, as he left wax ring packaging and dirty paper towels strewn about the bathroom. The builder has since fired Schleman Plumbing because of bad workmanship and unwillingness to make good on warranty. I only wish they had done so before we built our house. Stay away from Schleman Plumbing, they're bad news.

We've used these guys for a few years now. We called for some service this week and when I opened the door, the gentleman introduced himself and removed his shoes before entering my home. Every time he would go out to his truck, he would remove his shoes before coming back in. I wish this weren't such a big deal, but it's such a rare thing for service folks to do. Anyhow, he pointed out what was causing the issue and went into detail with everything he was going to do. Very informative and helpful. Very good, reasonable price for the work he did. We will continue to use them for services in the future.

After I read reviews on Angie's List, I was excited to speak to someone because one of the reviewers had the same issue that  I was having and gave a great review. On my initial contact, I called and spoke to someone who said I would receive a call back. No one called me back that day. The next day I received a call, but after about 10 seconds we were disconnected, but Esther (the service scheduler) did not call me back. I called them back the following day and spoke to Esther. After describing my issue, I asked if I could email pictures and measurements of my faucets and send over the product specs for her to doublecheck that I purchased the correct sized faucets. She was a little difficult, but then agreed. She called back the same day and told me the measurements of my faucets, but told me she didn't have time to look at the specs of the faucets I purchased to make sure that they would fit. I explained that I no nothing about faucets and asked if she would take the 2 minutes to look so that I don't have a plumber come all the way to home only to discover I bought the wrong size. She flat out told me that the 2 minutes of her time was not worth my business. I told her I would make sure to mention this customer service experience on Angie's List. She said ok. I immediately called back to speak to a manager. I'm not sure if this was on purpose, but as soon as I called back I was hung up on. I emailed the company because I wanted them to know what a poor customer service experience and I had. They responded the same day that Esther was very busy. There was no apology for the experience I had and they did not offer again, to spend 2 minutes verifying what I purchased was correct so I could move forward and book with them. I'm so disappointed, because again, based on other reviews, this was the company I wanted to go with, but if you can't even spend 2 minutes to provide great customer service, I'll give my business elsewhere.

I had Schema here friday and Julio replaced a toilet valve that was leaking. Today that same toilet stared shooting water founder the tank area. I had a flood on my first floor. They sent Julio back even though I asked for someone else. Julio would not listen to me and started telling me there was a blockage that caused an overflow. He then forced it to overflow and said """"see, you had overflow"""" . I told him that was not at all what happened earlier and noted he had flooded my downstairs again!! After arguing with me that he knows because he is a plumber he said he would not come back to my house. I told him to leave. I then called the office and spoke to Esther, the most rude condescending person I have ever spoken to. She also tried to tell me it was an overflow. I told her he created the overflow and what I saw was not an overflow.
