Seen their vehicles on the road all the time, seems their prerogative is drive dangerously and carelessly. Never had a good interaction with someone wearing their label. Can't imagine they do good business since they seem to employ such assholes. Personally recommend everyone I know AGAINST using them.

The company and manager, Ed is very dishonest. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone! We were an old, returning customer of Hoffman and Son who had to replace a sump pump under warranty. After agreeing on a price for the job, Schaible's scheduled an appointment with a technician to come replace the SAME model pump. We sent the technician back after learning they were trying to install another sump pump not the same model as the warrantied. Ed, the manager called us and gave us a BS excuse of not wanting to do the job b/c we enquired for a discount on labor. In reality, he didn't want to complete job b/c the price of the sump pump was much higher than the one they wanted to install. NOT A CUSTOMER/CLIENT FRIENDLY BUSINESS!!

Good company to call if you want to waste time getting an estimate that your never receive. Next time try stating your not interested in doing the job instead of wasting people's time.

During Tuesday's torrential rains, our sub-pump died and called for help. We were pleasantly surprised to have a serviceman at our house less than an hour later. He quickly had the problem identified and installed a new sub-pump. Wouldn't hesitate to call again and would highly recommend them!

Seems like they are overcharging seniors during the corona virus crisis. $600 to visually inspect the pipes at a senior's house is terrible

Waaaaay overpriced. They charged me $1,200 to help with a leak that did not even require new piping work. The parts probably totaled $300-400. Then we asked for help with a water heater replacement. They knew we were in a bind and told us the quote would be a little over $2,000 because it was in a tight space. Then suddenly the quote went up $1,000 to a little over $3,000 because they said they had to cut some sewer lines that were blocking the water heater. We ended up getting quotes from other plumbers -- and they all came in at less than half of Schaible's quoted $3,000 price. Needless to say, we hired someone else and it took them maybe 3 hours and didn't end up being the massive project Schaible's made it out to be. In fact, cutting sewer pipes was not even needed. The other company simply LIFTED the old hot water heater over the pipes and then lifted the new one over them to put it in! We are very happy we did not pay them $3,000. We definitely felt they took advantage of our situation with the leak and tried to do the same with the water heater. When I complained about the $3,000 quote, and said I could not understand how it suddenly went up $1,000 over night, the manager offered to ""defer"" $400 of the $3,000 payment to the following month, if that would help. Would not recommend this company or use them again.

Boiler stopped working, an error code was being displayed, they came out after hours to fix it. I get the fact that there are fees associated with work done after hours (no problem). Hours later it stopped working and the code displayed again. Called them the following morning and they eventually had someone take a look and recommended rerouting some of the pipe work. When they came to complete that project the tech was on the phone half the time getting help from another tech and made about 6 very slow trips to the van to get one item each time. After completing this project the boiler stopped working again and the code continued. Shame on me for asking them to rectify the issue, they continued to charge for time and parts even though the issue wasn't being addressed. Eventually they addressed the code that the boiler displayed which was a 80$ part and 5 minutes to fix. After being down over a $1,000 I did some late research on the company and asked around, let's say this has happened before (shame on me)

This would be my number one plumber to avoid! The service technician was extremely poor...a rude, arrogant liar. The price that they charged for the labor was extremely outragous! The price they billed me for some common parts can not be described as anything but a rip off. Don't make the mistake of calling this plumber. These people should be reported to the Better Business Bureau.

My experience with Schaible's is that they are a 100% customer service focused organization. Techs were knowledgeable, friendly, and their concern for keeping my house clean was really appreciated. Fixed my heat promptly and price was great.

Our shower was leaking through the ceiling into our living room and Schaible's came quickly and took care of it for a reasonable cost! The technician, I cannot remember his name, but he was fabulous! Very nice, did not make a mess, and helped us clean up the mess that was already created! Would definitely recommend them to friends and family.
