I had contacted Scheafer Plumbing to replace my Basement Plumbing Tree (where the toilet, tub and bathroom sink to to the drain. I was given a quote and we agreed, he did the job the very next day.

Good job removing the old and replacing with the PVC components from the new toilet mount and ring and connecting the tub and drain.

Edwin Schaefer is not a licensed plumber. Unfortunately I only found this out after I paid him several thousand dollars to fix my sewer , only to have the same issue again four days later. After the problem reoccured he refused to fix it only offered to come out and give me another estimate. Now I'm forced to contact the state licensing board, pursue a civil case and still pay a licensed plumber to fix the issue.

Great plumber! Saved the day at my rental property. I had a clogged main for my rental on a Saturday that left sewage backing up into the basement. Ed the owner was there within 20 minutes and fixed the problem in less then an hour! His rates were extremely reasonable and he was very knowledgeable. Schaefer Plumbing will be my go to plumber for future issues without a doubt!

Everything sounded super good and the guy was very nice on the phone. We called around 10:15 and was able to get someone out at 1. He text me from a number asking if he could send someone earlier and unfortunately I could not make it earlier. He replied with ""no problem."" However, no one showed up at 1. I tried calling the company and no one answered. I text the number that text me earlier to see what time they were able to come out. No reply. I got in touch with the technician that never showed because I received his voicemail late. He stated he was not going to show up to a random house. I mentioned that it was not a random house as I was the one who provided the company with an address to begin with and the appointment was just made a couple of hours ago. He stated he could be out at 5. I called the company again and there was no answer. He text me back instead and I replied that I would like a call and it never came. HORRIBLE BUSINESS and VERY unprofessional. I ended up going with another company and I text both the tech for offering to come out later and I text the boss out of common courtesy and also explained my frustration. He replied with, ""Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. God Bless.""

This guy is a crook. We hired him to come out to repair two breaks in our water pipes (water heater line, kitchen sink shut off valves and install a new bathroom tub assembly) for $450 cash on Sunday March 4th. He was at my home for over 4 hours.

Once he was complete he turned on the main water line. Water went everywhere in our crawlspace. We together investigated and found another break which he said wasn't able to be repaired because the plumbing parts store was closed. He told us he was coming back the following day to fix the additional section for $150 so we could have running water in our home plus test what he had already repaired.

Needless to say Ed never showed stating his alternator on his van went out. We have called and text Ed several times and all we get is empty promises. I had to call out another plumbing company the following day hence I have small children living in the home with us without water. They charged us an additional $300 just to fix the breaks in the pipe that Schaefer Plumbing was already paid to fix plus the additional break in the crawlspace but they would not touch the bathroom tub assembly siting Schaefer was directly responsible to repair the pipe.

Now our home smells of mold. We cant find a plumber locally to touch his shabby work. Ed does not return our phone calls. He texts back saying he's backed up after not answering our calls.

I'd stay far away from this guy/company.

Here it is Saturday March 10th and he still hasn't fixed what he was paid to repair in the first place!!!
