Called and quoted me a price plus 5 dollars for gas!!!!
They said someone would respond in 24 to 48 hours. 4 and half days later they contact me to come out. Unacceptable.
If you can't trust their words can you trust them to do quality work?

Furnace would not kick in on a Saturday morning in February. Made an appointment with the dispatcher at 10:30am. Technician Sam came out at 7:30pm that day, replaced a condenser motor and had us warm by 9pm that Saturday evening. That is what I call service! Sam and the dispatcher Alexis were very friendly & personable, so thanks Schaal! I'll call y'all!

We had a good experience getting a new toilet installed. Scott was nice, professional, and speedy! I was given my options clearly and he ended up getting the old toilet out and the new toilet in very quickly! We purchased our own toilet which saved a ton. I would use them again!

This company tries to add on sales or replace large items when there is nothing wrong with them everytime they are here just to do annual cleaning and maintenance. I am done with that type of company.

Don't use these guys unless you want to wait forever for parts in hopes they can persuade you to replace your entire system. When that doesn't work, they'll take their sweet time returning to your home with the part bc they don't have the time- even though you've paid monthly fees for a year to be a premium member for this company. Don't bother. Go find someone reliable, that's not just looking for the sale leaving children in the heat for over a week.

Was provided a bid for a new furnace and air conditioner which included the existing humidifier to be attached to the new unit. They did not reattach it and disposed of it. They claimed they would attach a new humidifier if I paid for labor. It's been two months and they have not followed through with that arrangement and now they are no longer responding to messages or requests for updates. I would not recommend them for servicing or new units based on this experience.

I was looking for a new HVAC system, and for most this is a once in a lifetime investment. I got four different bids, all different as night and day. Schaal was without doubt the worst. Being a modular home with the furnace in a closet, I was interested in moving it to the basement. The other three bids said it would be no problem with all the extra room, but with Schaal the price doubled. In the basement, the others were actually cheaper. At one point they even talked about replacing all of the duct-work.

They even sent two guys so they could agree with each other. The bid itself was very simple in that there was no identification of item but brand. It's like saying I'll sell you a Ford for $10,000. If you are going to sell me a big-ticket item, you might want to let me in on just exactly what you are selling me. All other bids I received were good for 30 days. Schaal's bid was good for 7 days...that says a lot.

Quoted us a high price to repair our AC. Ended up just paying the diagnostic fee and getting a quote elsewhere which was almost half the price Schaal gave us.
Also after confirming the appointment an excessive number of times by email, call and text messages they still called on the day and had the wrong time in their system.
