Manny and Robert came to my house and gave me top-notch, timely service. There was no rescheduling a different day or excuses as to why they had to bill me for more costs. They worked quickly and were total professionals. A job I was told would take several days and nearly $3000 by a previous plumber was done in under four hours with minimal damage to my drywall and tile surround, at a fraction of the cost quoted by another service. As a new homeowner, I am so happy to have found such a wonderful plumbing company. We have had two serious emergencies that we had to call Schaaf for. We dealt with Manny both times and he was super professional and explained everything to us in detail. He responded quickly for both emergencies and did a great job. The first time we called because our heat wasn't working in the middle of January!! I mentioned we had a baby and it was freezing and Manny showed up RIGHT AWAY to fix the problem. The last time was for a leak in our basement and he came to fix the clog first thing in the morning. They have also done smaller jobs like fixing leaks in our faucet, installing our nest thermostat, and a bathtub leak. Their prices are really affordable too! I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a reliable plumber.

I give Joe and Jimmy five stars for a lot of reasons. First their prices are reasonable, but just as important are all the other things. They have always been polite and pleasant when dealing with them. Unlike other tradesmen I have dealt with, when they say they will be there they ALWAYS arrive on time as promised with a professional and competent crew that gets the job done quickly and completely without leaving a mess behind. Finally I would feel comfortable giving Joe and Jimmy the keys to my home to go in and complete a job while I was away without any concerns about the job being done correctly or things going missing without someone at the residence.

I had issues at our place in Edgewater with cold water flow in our kitchen bathrooms following water shutdowns in our town. Even after clearing out the aerators and running the water, the water pressure was extremely low throughout our unit. We also needed shower handles to be replaced in both bathrooms which we had been holding off on for a while.

I called Schaaf in the morning and they were responsive and set up a time to come in the afternoon. They came as promised and helped troubleshoot all the areas. There were different causes of the low pressure kitchen and bathrooms and Manny helped figure out each of the causes and fixed the issues. He also replaced all the shower handles and internal cartridges. Very professional and thorough. I would definitely recommend Schaaf to anyone with plumbing needs.

Well All I can say is that I had a problem for about 9 months! I heard noises and smelled a funky odor at times coming from the ceiling area on the first floor of a one family house. It drove me nuts!!!! I called handymen,contractors, various plumbers and exterminators to identify these smells and noises. Maybe the showers leaks, maybe it's the drain from the washer, Maybe it's this , maybe it's that,so on and so on!!! After throwing money after money to these companies and having the same result no one fixed the problem!!! No one until my sister told me to call Schaaf Plumbing, acompaña she used in the past. I was at the end of my rope with this frustrating problem with nothing to lose except more money!! So I called and the next day Joe and Jim arrived and used a smoke machine and found a broken sewer pipe behind the wall and ceiling within 2 hours. They repaired the pipe and solved my problem! I should have called them 9 months ago!.

I called up because my hot water tank was leaking water fast. Within an, hour Nick arrived and an hour after that, after a fair price was given, employees arrived at my home and started work. A new hot water tank, complete with copper pipes and new valves was professionally installed. Professional employees, clean work and great service from a great plumber, what more can you ask for? My first ever 1 star review anywhere. They jip you off on component cost, I was told $40 per valve and found out it was $20 on google search. They installed 10 so was jipped off $200.

Here' the full story. I called these guys to fix some of my rooms not getting much heat from my steam boiler. Manny said the reason would be my water valve is not closing in tight enough so it needs replacement and also the valves in my radiators are old so recommended that they be switched. I was verbally quoted maybe $12 per valve and asked if I wanted them done in all the rooms, I said sure. He said he'd come back in few days because he didnt have the valves. He estimated maybe $400~$500(1 water pipe valve+10radiator valves).

The morning comes back he said $700 because the valves were almost $40 each. I calculated ok $28*10 is extra $280 so $700 seemed good for the price range he initially gave.

Months later, I happened to open up my radiator to adjust something and just out of curiosity, google the price of the exact component and to my surprise, so many sellers on internet at $20 a piece. Was furious but it was already months past and I didnt want to bother speaking with them without a detailed bill.

Aside from being jipped off on materials, I called the guy to resolve some rooms not being heated enough, and he said fixing the valves was going to resolve it. Well, guess what. The room was better but certainly not fixed. I didnt want to get jipped off again so just called another company.

Upto you to use these guys but definitely do your due diligence by asking to quote two things, the exact component+the cost and what labor will be. Im sure many contractors will try to squeeze the most out of your job but these guys are certainly one of those.

Every time we have an issue we seem to always come back to Schaaf Plumbing. We tried other plumbers but Schaaf knows what they are doing. They are on the pricey side. The issue is usually completed with in a timely matter. Joe and staff is very respectful and friendly. They explain the process to you step by step.

Joe and Jimmy were both great communicating and getting someone out to my place early Sunday morning when I had a really bad drain clog that wouldn't let anything pass. They sent constant updates through texts and email before the service and once the service had been completed I was sent a recap and bill both through email and text. My clog was taken care of in less than 5 minutes. Do not hesitate to reach out to these guys.
