We had emergency service that needed to be done. Scaran was recommended and they arrived right away. We had to get a new boiler and hot water maker. They came in the morning and worked about 11 hours straight and even worked outside in the snow. The young men were so polite and courteous! Never asked for anything the entire day! They did an excellent job and even gave me more space for my washer and dryer. All trash was removed and left clean!! We are so grateful and will definitely use them for all our plumbing needs!!

I always call these guys when I have any issues with my HVAC system. Without a service contract they came out the same day. I appreciate that! The cost wasn't too bad. The part cost me more than the service call. That said the techs are knowledgeable, professional and skilled. The dispatcher and the service department were great also and called me to let me know the tech was on the way. Great company and will definitely use them again.

I am writing this review for a friend who asked that I help her out:

I bought a new unit for $8,000. The first week the unit broke. I told the owner that I have a medical condition and cannot be without air because I couldn't breathe. They sent a tech in the afternoon. The techs were knowledgable and considerate of my condition. After one week the unit broke again at 1 am. It got fixed by 1pm the next days. This is one week after the unit was installed. I asked the company for a price adjustment because I feel the unit is faulty. They told me that is not an option.

I feel a company in business this long should accommodate a request such as this, considering my health issues and anxiety over waiting for a tech to come out.

I'm disappointed in management.

Had a very rude and reportedly a 35 yrs technician to come and fix AC in Brooklyn. It was their office miscommunications on type of AC and that tech started blaming me and argue/dismissing the customer and told customer to buy AC at Home Depot and replace it. Please be aware of this tech very arrogant.

Honestly, we could not have chosen a better company to install our new Lennox Central AC system. After getting 5 quotes from different companies on the Island, Scaran offered us the best bang for our buck. The AC unit operates like a dream and their customer service couldn't be more responsive. I even told Anthony, the sales manager, that each time I see their turquoise colored trucks, I feel a little bit better about life. GREAT company and I highly recommend them. When you spend $12k for a system, you better choose the right people. I did.

Don't bother with Scaran. They are nasty and will overcharge you.

They quoted me $7000 for a heating unit that I had installed for $4000 for the same machine on the quote. And I was a prior customer who had a heating and air conditioning unit installed for another property on Staten Island, They should learn customer service.

HORRIBLE experience with Scaran. I am doing an oil to gas conversion in my home and the sales manager explained to me that I should have the new gas furnace in my home within the next 2 weeks. Last week I came home to find that the workers popped the lock on the back door and let themselves in without my knowledge or consent. I received no warning that workers would be coming to my home on that day or the extent to the work. The work that they completed left my basement a mess, with wire hanging, boxes thrown on the floor, ceiling tiles torn down and rubble all over the place. The new water heater was in a very bad location which never received my approval. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

Always top notch service for annual maintenance (heating and air conditioning), emergency service, installations and repairs (a/c, heating, plumbing). The technicians are alway pleasant, professional and very competent & knowledgeable. As a clean freak, I also appreciate that the technicians are conscientious about being neat and cleaning up.

Just had them put in central air... in a 1950's center hall colonial with no duct work and only a crawl space attic. Expected a total mess and weeks of construction.
They designed a great system and foresaw every problem. Very knowledgeable.
Took 4 days to do 8 rooms... and not a speck of dust when they were done.
Might cost a little more than some others, but worth every penny.
