Steve is a excellent plumber! He came in as part of a crew hired by contractor Gary Wenger to fix a mess another contractor had botched. Steve discovered that the original plumber had run the new pipes at the wrong angles and they had half assed the job. Steve was able to clean up the mess and correct the problems. I am so grateful to him. So much so that I have hired him to be part of a team coming to a fresh remodel my bathroom. I would hire Steve every time!!!

Today Steve from Scalettas Plumbing installed a new kitchen faucet!This was not the everyday installation as the faucet was the original that had been in the sink for 25 years and was so corroded and rusted that Steve had to saw it off to install the new faucet!He did a great job and I now have a new kitchen faucet that doesn't leak!

Outstanding, both in communication and response. Steve Scaletta talked me through new vs. repairing the old water heater, leaving the decision to me. Once I'd made that decision, he gave me additional reasons why it was the better choice. There was no pressure.
He then gave me the number for Billy, his water heater specialist. Billy's voicemail box was full which at first made me think it would add hours to getting this project done. However, he called me back about 5 minutes later, having ducked out of a certification class.
The next day, he showed up at the beginning of the time window we'd discussed, with all equipment and products he needed. Installation was perfect, and all trace of the mess was cleaned up and removed.
I like the way this new A. O. Smith model works, much better than the replaced G.E./Rheem model. It's much quieter, and the manufacturer's documentation is easy to understand. Steve didn't steer me wrong!

The wife and I woke up one morning with a hissing sound coming from the bathroom area, of course I had to be at work in 30 minutes so I'm scrambling like a madman to find the leak. To make a long story short, I eventually found it and it turned out to be a leak that was unreachable and VERY close to the slab between my two bathrooms. After ALL kinds of recommendations on how to fix it from people at work, a friend recommended Scaletta Plumbing, Steve. He diagnosed the problem, turned out I needed a repipe because of the galvanized pipe in the slab, Steve worked the numbers, advised me to get other quotes, as I did, and layed out what had to be done. He scheduled us in after a couple of days, we were having to turn off the water so it didn't flood out the house, and repiped the house in one day with the help of a crew, they cleaned up after the job was done, and had a drywall guy come in after to repair the walls, all I had to do was paint where the patch was repaired. Steve came in at a very reasonable quote. When Steve said he or the crew would be there at a specific time, they were ringing the door bell at that time. We are very happy with their work and have found ourselves a great plumber. A thanks goes out to Steve and the crew he used to get me back to norm.

I have used Steve Scaletta exclusively for the last 3 years. he has done outstanding work for me and my family, and his responses to my needs were quick. At my house, he did a water heater relocation and installation and replaced my home pressure reducing valve (PRV), he fully re-piped my brother in law's house, and even replaced the water heater for my son.

His prices are always half of what the competition charges and his work is twice as nice.

I called Steve at Scaletta Plumbing to replace my 20 year old water heater. He showed up promptly at the appointed time, brought my plumbing up to code, and installed the expansion tank and water heater. Steve was thorough, and the quality of his work was excellent.
Price was also acceptable. he was the lowest of the 3 estimates I had received.
