Same was awesome! He was extremely professional and completed everything as promised at a very reasonable price. I had couple small jobs ranging from changing out kitchen sink faucet, cleaning rain gutter, power wash outside wall, fixing front gate limiter, and installing a door seal. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in walking thru the details of the jobs. Sam will definitely be my go to guy from now on for any house projects!

I thought I had a guy, though I am sure happy that through great recommendations I found Sam! The first time Sam came for a service visit for my personal property, he helped me with what I needed and only charged for a service visit. (I was expecting to be spending a lot more money) So when my HOA needed new lighting around our building for safety and savings (energy and financial) of course I texted Sam. I live in the Bay Area but manage a single family home in Van Nuys that was in need of a lot of small repairs. It's hard to find someone willing to do this kind of work. I contacted a few companies with good Yelp reviews, but some didn't respond and others responded in a way that did not give me high confidence in their professionalism. On the other hand, SB Professional Maintenance was the exception. You can tell Sam is balancing multiple jobs, which I think it a necessity to have a successful business in this line of work. I told Sam I was not in a rush, so the various jobs got done over time, which was fine. Sam kept me generally informed. What I liked most is that if you really needed to contact him, he was almost always responsive same day by text or cell phone. Sam sent me pictures so that I could see the finished work, all of which was done well. In my view, that is 4 star material. While not always the case on Yelp, I think 5 stars should be reserved for something extra special, and that is about the only time I leave a review. What really rates Sam and SB Professional Maintenance a 5 star is the fact the he had to deal with a tenant (a relative of mine) that can be difficult (to put it mildly). It would have been perfectly reasonable for Sam to quit and tell me to find another contractor. Sam professionally dealt with the tenant's rude and unpredictable behavior, however, even changing some of the work mid-stream to meet these demands. When you find someone with fair prices that you can rely on to be responsive and do quality work in unreasonable circumstances, that is 5 star performance. You should not hesitate to hire SB Professional Maintenance.
