I had another interaction with this company in which I confirmed that they are a bunch of liars and hypocrites, who don't care about customers and even lie to themselves. I decided to check copies of their customer tracking system logs via my credit card company, and here are my findings
Owner's answer in Yelp
"It definitely sounds like there was a miscommunication here regarding your kitchen pipe. First and foremost, we absolutely do care about everyone that we work with -- even if we've just started working with you for the first time. We're sincerely sorry if it seemed that we didn't care, if it was difficult to get in touch with us on the phone right away, and if any damage was caused to your wall after our technician left your home...Please don't hesitate to reach out to us again at (469) 434-1131, and we'd be happy to speak with you in further detail."
Here's what the company actually wrote in their log (see prove in attachment):
"Josh B says we WILL NOT do work for these people!!!"
I could publish (and maybe we'll do in the future) more records quoting all the bad things you wrote about the customers and what you really think about everything but for now, I'll just save the space for the post. Instead, I'll just write this.
In the era when it's not difficult to get access to the information, and customers check reviews before ordering services, fighting customers hurts your business.
You could have written in your log, how your technician left the unit without telling me any findings, how I could have sent someone to help with cabinets but I didn't even know that any help was needed, how I spend multiple days trying to talk to somebody in the office to understand what happened, how we spent Christmas and New Year without water, how I begged to help me for extra money to solve the problem, and even knowing how your miscommunication hurt me, you did nothing to make it right. Maybe if you learned something from that experience, you could've improved your service next time but you preferred to blame customers in the notes, which means that next time you'll do the same.
I ended up hiring a different company, and the technician came, unscrewed the toe-kick board, and replaced the pipe. Everything took ~ 30 mins. It means that there are plumbing companies out there that care about their customers and provide high-quality service.
The question is "Why do we need companies like yours in the market?"

No one use Saving Grace Plumbing. They did not finish the job they quoted us, over charged, and left with my stove still in my living room and are just arguing with me. They called me back finally 3 days after they said they would and flat lied about the job they said they quoted me.

We got set up with Saving Grace through our homeowners' insurance, and it has been a hassle to say the least. They were originally hired to fix a shower faucet, and we initially thought that was resolved (spoiler alert: it wasn't and isn't, but we didn't realize that until weeks later in the midst of the other issue). Satisfied with the first service, we hired them on our own to fix a refrigerator water line. The plumber who came by didn't have the appropriate part with him and suggested we go buy it and install it ourselves because it was simple to do. Trusting the experts, we went and bought the part as directed and installed it. When a handyman came to patch the drywall behind the fridge, he found a leak in the line. Turns out the part we were directed to buy was incorrect. When we contacted Saving Grace to resolve the issue, they sent out the original plumber, who was rude on arrival and left without any resolution: "If your handyman fixed it, why am I here?" The leak continued, so Saving Grace sent out a different plumber, who actually fixed the water line. Seeing as how the problem originated with the incorrect part we were instructed to buy and install, we expected Saving Grace to comp the cost of the fix. They expect us to pay them for the additional services incurred by the incorrect part. Needless to say, we won't be hiring them for any further services in our home.

Negative -5 stars!!! This plumbing company is a joke! They either show up 4 hours too late, and say..."Duh, guess we have to come back bc it's too late." OR after rescheduling to come back the next day they literally go "radio silent" on the customer who has waited another 7 hours this time and receives no explanation or courtesy call to let the customer know they aren't going to show up. I'm over it.

Best service guys around! Always gets the job done quickly and efficiently! Will always recommend these hard working men! Nick is very hardworking and respectful. He wore a mask the whole time he was in my home and worked.

I called and texted Saving Grace on a Saturday, and they called back within the hour with an opening. After Dallas' winter storms, we were so grateful!! They showed up exactly when they said they would and immediately got to work on our multiple burst pipes!

They were friendly, worked quickly, and were knowledgeable. I plan on using them for all future plumbing needs. Their rates being so reasonable, even when providing services immediately following a major storm on a Saturday evening was such an added bonus!

Saving Grace was recommended and for good reason! I hope I don't need to use them again soon, but when I do, I'm glad to be able to call them!

Saving Grace Plumbing really was our saving grace in dealing with a home pipe burst due to Texas's winter storm. Nick went above and beyond to fix our pipe, and was pleasant and professional to work with. I also really appreciated that he wore a mask (and correctly!) the entire time (review written during COVID pandemic). This is my new go-to plumbing company!

Too bad you can't post negative stars. Really unfortunate this is the company that my home warranty company called to fix my hot water heater a couple of weeks back since Sunday it exploded and flooded my entire condo that I purchased only one month ago. They were very condescending when I tried to address the issues their company created and actually laughed. If you have a choice, call someone else. If your home warranty company calls them, good luck. Hopefully you don't end up with a flooded condo and full renovations ahead of you.
