Ben and his team are fantastic. I had a gross pipe leak problem under my concrete in the bathroom which was going to require jackhammering and possibly open a can of worms. I was so nervous about it. When Ben got in to see what was going on --he explained that it was originally not installed correctly and he might need to go deeper and jackhammer more. I agreed to ""do it right"" but then he called me back and said--""we figured it out and fixed it without having to dig deeper."" He stuck to his original price and I appreciated this but also his honesty. I really trust him--this is so RARE. He wasn't out to get more money even though I agreed if he needed to. This is one reason why I will hire him again in a minute if something else should go wrong with my plumbing--I trust him and his team. I also want to add that I chose him because he poured the concrete back for me and recommended someone good to redo the tiling --this is something that many other companies would not do. One company told me that I would have to get a hotel for my tenants for a few days but Ben said that he would put the toilet back if it took more than 1 day. (My tenants were very grateful for this because they don't want to leave the house because of COVID). It ended up taking just 1 day to fix it.
The bathroom leak is fixed and it looks as good as new. It was all fixed in less than a week. He gave me a good price, was fast, professional, friendly, responsive and clean. In my 25 years of being a landlady--I have never experienced a better plumber. Thank you Ben and team.

We had a sewer backup on Tuesday morning. I called them around 10am and asked if they could come out that day. He said yes and quoted me a fair price for getting the line jetted. He came out right on time and was thorough with the work. Ben was so nice, communicated everything that was going on with our sewer line and even showed us the photo of inside the line (exciting) and got us back to a working state again. We will definitely use them again. Highly recommend!

We had a bad stoppage in our downstairs toilet - tried everything and it just got worse, and water was coming up in the tub as well. I called Save Now P& R at 8PM on Memorial Day Sunday. Salvador answered and was very sympathetic and was able to fit us in today ( Memorial Day). Ben arrived on time and was fantastic! He immediately knew what the problem was - quoted me the very reasonable price - which I approved. He took up the toilet, snaked and used the camera. All was done promptly & neatly with a very high level of professionalism.
They will definitely be our go to Plumbers in the future. Thank you Ben & Salvador!

My Uncle's home had a blockage in his sewer lateral. His handyman could not fix it and suggested that he dig up his driveway to get to the pipe. I contacted Save Now Plumbing and Ben showed up on time and started working on the problem. After snaking the line from the clean out and the street vent with little success, he switched to the hydro jetter and that ultimately cleared the line. Ben did a video of the pipe and it was all clear. Great job!

Yesterday, we had an emergency plumbing issue at our home, and it was surprising how many plumbers in San Francisco list themselves as 24/7 availability or as emergency services, only to not answer their phone or to tell me that their first appointment was early next week. Ben at Save Now Plumbing in Rooter was the first plumber to take my call and conduct the conversation in a way that seemed to understand the nature of a customer who is experiencing an actual emergency. He listened to my situation, and even though he was already booked heavily that day, he made a point of offering to come by after work around 5:30 pm to help and add to his day. When he arrived, he was pleasant, professional, clear and helpful throughout. He diagnosed the problem, offered two solutions at two different prices (both entirely fair prices in my view), and stayed on for a full hour to complete the work and even used an underground camera at the end to show me that his work was completed and successful, so I could move on with fewer worries. Ben did an excellent job, and we'd definitely call him again. A total treat to have an urgent problem solved by a friendly, capable professional who takes his work seriously and with integrity. Highly recommended.

Save Now saved the day!

A week ago, my water heater died. It had been flaky all week and finally the pilot wouldn't stay lit at all. A few plumbers told me they didn't service American Standard heaters because parts were hard to get and low quality. One guy talked me through relighting the pilot myself, though, so that was a great educational experience.

So, for a few days, I made do with gym showers. I called the manufacturer about the parts warranty and they sent me the most likely replacement part (the pilot / thermocouple assembly) - I guess I sounded like I knew what I was doing.

Then I just had to find a plumber. Everyone was too busy, until I called Save Now. Originally the friendly guy (Ben) said he wasn't free until two days from now, but when I said that I had the replacement parts already, he made time to do it this very evening. And conveniently after work, so my partner could be home to let him in! He showed up on time, installed the new parts in about half an hour, and charged less than other places.

Now I can take a shower at home for the first time in a week! And I know a lot more about gas heaters (thanks to the helpful phone advice of many Yelp-sourced plumbers - and gold stars to everyone for not being condescending to a girl). I could have installed the new part myself but I figure with gas I'll leave it to the pros - those compression fittings are a little touchy. So I'm glad Save Now made it such a painless experience. And I'm really glad they're willing to repair heaters instead of just replacing it as soon as a cheap part dies.

Hot water doesn't seem so essential now that I've gone for a week without. Like Burning Man, but much much cleaner. But I'm so happy to be back to civilization.

Fixed my problem, but it almost seemed by accident. It was going to be $185 whether he fixed it or not, I was told. I rolled the dice and came up lucky I suppose. Seems like a lot of money without any guarantee of actually fixing the problem.
