I called Savage and Son to replace a leaky faucet out in the front of my house. From the first interaction with Kathleen to the completion of the project by Aaron, it was the most pleasant experience. I have never been so satisfied with a company and would recommend Savage and Son to everyone!!! There is a reason they have been in business for 125 years!!!

I had them come out to replace a garbage disposal witch retails for around $100 and takes roughly 30 minutes to install. They charged my landlady well over $300 to install it into the same existing fittings. Less then one month later it stopped working. I had them come out again thinking it was under warranty only to find that they charged me $270 to replace and 1 1/2 hours of time at $90 and hour. This is something I could replace in under 30 minutes and I am not a professional! I asked if they could please call me back as I did not think the charges were valid. I never got a response so I disputed the charge. They called my landlady and made here pay the balance and still had my card charged for the amount as well. This will be almost $1,000.00 Savage and sons has taken for the garbage disposal in under 3 months. Way out of line

I've used Savage and Son a few times before, and they were great. My water heater started leaking on Saturday, and they had somebody come out and look at it within a few hours. He recommended we go buy a new water heater, and he could be back early the next morning to install for $195 an hour (weekend pay). He called Sunday morning saying there was a casino that had an emergency, and he could come out that afternoon. No big deal. We asked him if he had availability on Monday, because it was much cheaper during the week ($95 an hour). He said he could definitely have someone come out on Monday, that they'd call to schedule it. Monday comes around, and they are booked an entire week out. And, it turns out, nobody else wants to install a water heater we bought ourselves. Ended up spending $300 more than he quoted us on another plumber!

Well, the faucet that Savage ""fixed"" (not replaced) still has not stopped leaking. As for the replacement parts, there were none except a new filter cartridge. So, I have to try & fix the leak myself or call a handyman.
Such a total waste of time and money to call Savage plumbing.

I had ordered a part over the phone and UPS returned it to the store. When Pete found out that I had never received it he shipped it out again and I received it the next day ( In Round Mountain ). AND they did not charge me for any of it as they wanted to make it right. This was going above and beyond.

I called and spoke to Pete and asked about a Kohler Mixer cap assembly. He said he had one and could ship it out as soon as he got the shipping price from UPS. I called back and had to leave a message, I called again, same thing, finally he calls back and says that he wasn't sure on the shipping but thought 10 to 15 dollars, I said fine and he said he would ship it that night. That was over 2 weeks ago ! I returned from vacation and no shipment. I called twice yesterday and no responce or reply. This is the worst salesman I have ever encountered. Must be very young as he doesn't even have the consideration to just say wether he can do it or not. He leaves you hanging and rudely ignores you. I would fire him!

I did a fair amount of research in small amount of time when my water heater ruptured. I was quoted by 3 other companies and none of them came within $300 of what Savage and Son quoted. They couldn't get out same day, but I set an appointment or the next day. I called the morning of the appointment and asked that they switch out my kitchen sink and faucet while they were here. They moved their scheduling around and told me it wouldn't be a problem. Carlos showed up right on time. He was SUPER friendly and professional. He fixed everything that I asked of him and the total bill for everything was less than the second best quote I received for just the water heater. I am totally happy with Savage and Son. I have already referred them a couple times since. Thank you guys.

Worst experience, never call them again,charging too much and not do a good job,the first time about 4 months ago,i called them in the morning, and they worked for me was after 5 pm, they told me after 5pm is charging for over time, that's okay,I paid them. and this time ,same problem about the sewer, they worked no more then 45mins,and charged me 1.5 hours, thay told me they charging the travel time, that's mean how long takes them to my house, and how long takes them to go back to the shop.wow,that's surprise me, never never call them again.

Absolutely wonderful! From scheduling to the actual appointment, this was a wonderful experience! The plumber showed up when he was supposed to (always appreciated!), he fixed the problem quickly and efficiently, and they honored a coupon I had. Very affordable and quality work that got the job done right on the first try!
