Frankly I would give it Zero stars if it was an option. I called early March with a large job in remodeling our master bath. I waited over three weeks for an appointment with Josh who came to see the job to estimate. Josh came, on March 23 and saw saw I needed a shower installation, a washer /dryer installation, double vanities sink move , and soaking tub plumbing removed. My master had been totally gutted at the time of the appointment. Josh promised a quick return of estimate, said it would mean three days of actual work and once deposit made, work would be scheduled.
May 1, 2022 I have yet to hear a single word! I did not get a phone call, an email, a written estimate, or notification that they do not intend to bid on this project. We had purchased our special toilets from them about $1,800 for two and service installation was good. Guess they do not service unless you buy products?? So are they not plumbers which is what I needed? Cannot, would not ever, suggest you call Savage !

After unsuccessfully trying to get an appt with 2 other ""24/7"" plumbers, I finally found S & S. Robert was very punctual, polite, professional, and FAST! There are other plumbers who promise 24/7 service if you can wait for 2 or 3 days. WT? Save yourself a headache and call S & S first.

I can't say enough about the wonderful service I received from Savage and Son. I was having an issue with my water heater and needed some guidance.

When I called Savage and Son, a lovely woman answered and took time to troubleshoot my problem rather than just setting up an appointment. She was spot on diagnosing the issue and was able to get me set up with a repair time.

The technician, Brett, called when he was in his way and arrived exactly on time which I appreciated. He explained everything that he needed to do and went over the cost with me. It was exactly what they had quoted and I was very pleased that there were no surprises or hidden costs. The work was done professionally and in a timely manner.

Savage and Son is a union shop and because of that have superior training. They also have the oldest contractors license which says a lot about how they do business. Dealing with them was a refreshing change from other services in town. I highly recommend giving them a call if you are in need of repairs.

I spoke with Kathleen today after calling 8 other plumbing companies. Kathleen was so nice to put me on the call if theres a cancellation list. The other companies yelled at me they're under staffed due to Covid. Does that mean I should be yelled at?? I would recommend Savage and Son.

Savage and Son has always helped us with our plumbing needs since moving here 6 years ago, the basics (toilets flooding from kids, sinks leaking, replacing bathroom sink pipes, etc.). This time we used them for our kitchen remodel and fireplace install (gas line) and couldn't be happier. Their communication, on time showing up, follow through and professionalism was beyond amazing. Easy to work with and highly recommend.

I'm very glad that I went with Savage and Sons to install a new water heater and to fix a few leaks in my home. The reason I went with them was a direct result of a conversation I had with Kathleen when I called with questions.

She was friendly, and when I listed my issues and that I might need a new fixture for my tub, she said that I may only need a cartridge. I thought, now this is a company that I want to do business with.

Keith fixed my leaks, and installed my water heater. He was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. It's such a nice feeling to trust your plumber!

The guy that came out was nice enough. My kitchen sink was clogged and I'd tried everything. He snaked it twice and got it moving. I paid the after hours rate as they had no openings for weeks.

I had to get another company to actually clear the clog a week later.

I ordered a nice-looking but cheap sink from Wayfair. The instructions sucked, it didn't have all the parts, and I tried to put it together but was not successful.

Mark from Savage and Son did an amazing job piecing together the mess. He helped make it functional, was super professional, and even showed up early for our appointment.
