Kitchen faucet needed fixed. Low hot water pressure. Problem was fixed pretty quickly..great right. Well 10 minutes after Plummer left I looked under sink and there was a puddle of water. Evidently he didn't tighten down the on/off valve. Nice guy but should have checked things before he left. I probably could have tightened myself but shouldn't have to. Not when I pay 154.00 to fix a minor issue. I cringe when I have to call a Plummer cause I know it won't be cheap

Aaron Vollmoer was our Service Technician. Our water heater went out during the last snow storm. The service was excellent and he came back and was able to replace the water heater even with the snow and the temperatures being as cold as they were. He went above and beyond to make sure we could get our hot water back and truly cared. Thank You!!!!

Years ago, we hired other plumbing companies when needed - only to discover that we'd either been overcharged or the work was incomplete (I once had to loan a plumber from a well-known local company my drill and tile bit, so that he could properly install a toilet flange - and he still had to call the owner for directions!). Now, I wouldn't hire anyone but Savage and Son for any plumbing job. We just had them do some repair and replacement work and I'm 100% satisfied. I'll hire them again for a major remodel and recommend that - if you value experience, reliability and value (they don't overcharge like some do) - hire Savage and Son for your next plumbing job!

I had a problem with ""water hammer"" in my home and Savage and Son's sent Mel to my home to try and solve my problem. Mel solved the problem in a very reasonable time. He was very professional and and friendly. I had tried using a different plumbing company that was not able to solve my problem. I would highly recommend Savage and Son's and Mel for any plumbing needs. If I need plumbing work done in the future, I will contact the folks at Savage and Son's as all of the folks at their business treated me so professionally. I give them Five Stars.

Poor communication and even worse quality of work. Highly over priced compared to other competitors in the area. I wish I would have taken my time and sought out a more reputable company to work with.

I am extremely impressed with the professionalism of Tom P. whose performance went over and above my expectations. Tom was very courteous and informative and took the time to call me with his findings. I would highly recommend Tom P. and Savage and Son to everyone I know.

I called Savage and Son to replace a leaky faucet out in the front of my house. From the first interaction with Kathleen to the completion of the project by Aaron, it was the most pleasant experience. I have never been so satisfied with a company and would recommend Savage and Son to everyone!!! There is a reason they have been in business for 125 years!!!

I had them come out to replace a garbage disposal witch retails for around $100 and takes roughly 30 minutes to install. They charged my landlady well over $300 to install it into the same existing fittings. Less then one month later it stopped working. I had them come out again thinking it was under warranty only to find that they charged me $270 to replace and 1 1/2 hours of time at $90 and hour. This is something I could replace in under 30 minutes and I am not a professional! I asked if they could please call me back as I did not think the charges were valid. I never got a response so I disputed the charge. They called my landlady and made here pay the balance and still had my card charged for the amount as well. This will be almost $1,000.00 Savage and sons has taken for the garbage disposal in under 3 months. Way out of line

I've used Savage and Son a few times before, and they were great. My water heater started leaking on Saturday, and they had somebody come out and look at it within a few hours. He recommended we go buy a new water heater, and he could be back early the next morning to install for $195 an hour (weekend pay). He called Sunday morning saying there was a casino that had an emergency, and he could come out that afternoon. No big deal. We asked him if he had availability on Monday, because it was much cheaper during the week ($95 an hour). He said he could definitely have someone come out on Monday, that they'd call to schedule it. Monday comes around, and they are booked an entire week out. And, it turns out, nobody else wants to install a water heater we bought ourselves. Ended up spending $300 more than he quoted us on another plumber!
