Sartain Emergency Plumbing

This is my first or second yelp post ever. Sartain plumbing was fantastic. Here was the situation. We are a family with babies in the house.
- At 7:30 pm, our kitchen sink backed up causing the garage to flood a bit.
- I called a few places including Sartain at 7:45pm. - Sartain got back to me within 5 minutes via text (very efficient way to communicate) offering to come the next day which I respond that I would wanted it done that night and call around to others
- Sartain then called and said they could do it that night if I was ok paying an after hours fee which is completely reasonable. Ultimately, the amount was about $30 more than I had paid for snaking during normal hours which is nothing.
- here's where they are fantastic. They said they would be here in 20 minutes, and they showed up in 10. Kissel (the plumber) hadn't even tied his shoes as he rushed to get here so fast. That's service right there by 8:20pm
- job was done well and he made sure that everything was flowing well rather than simply driving away. Again this is 9:15 at night.

I didn't have a big or complicated job so I can't comment on that. I can say that they literally jumped to make sure we were taken care of. Oh, and Kissel is just a good guy giving me a newish homeowner tips. Thanks Kissel and Sartain team. Given that my house is nearly 70 years old, we will meet again.

Christmas morning is the worst time to have a plumbing emergency, but we had one this morning. We called several emergency plumbers. Mel Sartain was the only one who returned our call (and within called 20 minutes!). He was at our house 10 minutes later and had repairs completed within 45 minutes. He cleaned up and was out the door shortly after verifying that everything working and was flowing smoothly. Very reasonable price for outstanding service. Highly recommend Mel Sartain!

Sartain was called in to fix a backup of the main line which I share with my neighbor. My tub drain has never worked better. They're now working on the pipe where the source of the problem is. These guys are good. For emergencies, I would highly recommend them. They know what they're doing alright.

After a day of DIY attempts at clearing a backup in two units of a duplex, I called a major plumbing group (which advertises a 24 hour emergency number) late Thursday afternoon. They said they couldn't send anyone until Monday. I called Sartain at 5:45 PM. They called back in 5 minutes. The plumber, Mel, was here 15 minutes later, with all the necessary equipment. He employed a 65-foot ""snake"" and the problem completely was cleared by 7. The charge was very reasonable, considering the gravity, equipment, and quick response. I highly recommend Sartain.

Mel is a life saver! 9:00 pm on a Saturday (of course!) the shower and toilet backed up. He was here within a half hour! Did a fabulous job and amazingly the price was very reasonable. Do not hesitate to call Sartain for all your plumbing needs!

Called Mel Sartain about a Saturday morning clogged kitchen sink (after my futile efforts with a hand snake). He came over promptly, gave us a fair quote up front, and completed the drain cleaning thoroughly and swiftly. A high level of courtesy and professionalism from start to finish. 5:00: Plumber calls me to confirm address, says he'll be there in 20, he is here in 10
6:00: Shower fixed

And Mel was the nicest guy, And it was only $162, Will definitely use them again.

Had massive backup in the pipes causing the toilet and bathtub to flood. I called Sartain and they immediately dispatched a plumber who arrived within 15 minutes. Courteous, professional, and efficient. Job was done in under 1 hour, everything fixed, no damages. Very very pleased with the service and would highly recommend!

Returning home from vacation, we were greeted with our sewer line backing up into our shower and toilet overflowing last weekend. My husband and I placed several calls to various plumbing companies in town whose dispatchers promised a phone call back within ten minutes. We're still waiting....

We called Sartain plumbing from a Google and Yelp search later that evening and could tell they were pretty busy themselves. However, after hearing of our situation and knowing we couldn't use our bathrooms or any plumbing, Mel (the owner) arrived at our house and worked diligently and quickly clearing out our Main line stoppage, even though it was late in the evening!

We were of no help as we couldn't even locate our own clean out. Prior to his arrival, we were digging up our yard frantically trying to find it. With his expertise, Mel located the clean out and freed up a monster of a clog!

His pricing, even on a Saturday, was the most most reasonable I'd ever encountered. For comparison, I once hired a plumber to address a leaky kitchen faucet. He charged us more than our main line stoppage to replace our faucet with a new one---labor only as we had already purchased a new kitchen faucet.

We were so pleased with Sartain plumbing's quick, courteous, and extremely reasonable prices, that we asked them back to for a few more plumbing issues.

Mel Sartain runs a tremendous plumbing company and is a wonderful person to be around as an added bonus. It only took five years, but we finally found a great local plumbing company whom we can trust and rely on. Thank you, Mel, Wayne, Brandon, and Sartain plumbing! You're the absolute best!
