This pluming company is a complete scam. They have visited my house 4 times and every time they try to get me to replace my tankless water heater. I've since learn it is working fine.

1. Comes to do annual maintenance, first 10 minutes begins telling me I need to replace my tankless water heater even before touching it. Tiny bit of corrosion from water exhaust. I pay for flushing maintenance only. They project cost to replace is $5-$6K.

2. 1 year later hot water is intermittent, they come again and tell me I need to replace it the water heater the instant they look at it. I pay for maintenance. They claim it's fixed.

3. April 2024 Hot water is interment again within 3 hours of them leaving from visit 2. I know I was scammed maintenance cost. They come back but I request different person. I request Jordan this time. The issue is a small switch for hot water is broken. They charge me $250. Still insist i need to replace my tankless, project $5-$6k.

4. June 2024, tankless water heater is now dripping. Again, they look at it but never touch anything. Within 5 min of looking, they say it's cheaper to replace. But never identify the issue.

I finally call a competitor plumbing, it's a small piece of plastic cap broken. The part is $16 and the fix it for $400. My tankless is perfectly fine and no need to replace. The internal parts are spotless and still shiny.

Stay away from this company, you will get scammed!!

Leighton came out on 05/16/24 to help clear up a sewage smell in our bathroom sink. He worked on it for 2 hours in order to ensure he corrected the issue at a reduced rate as we've been using Sarkinen plumbing for years. Awesome worker and very friendly. I would hire Leighton in a heart beat!

we have been using sarkinen for about seventeen years now and they always get the job done and done well. They are professional, they are skilled, and it's worth paying for that.
mick, you are awesome! thank you and so many others: Derrik, Jordan, the magic man with the beard(he was in and out so fast don't know his name) and the company itself, you've been doing great work that is dependable and predictably good sound plumbing.

Sarkinen used to be so good, I recommended them to all of my friends. But that was then, and this is now.
I plugged up my garbage disposal. my fault. They came out and unclogged it. but then, they said that they had to replace my sprayer with an air gap, ""it's the law now"". That meant a new faucet with a built in sprayer and the air gap. $$$$$$$. Then soon, found my counter covered with water. searched it down, it was the air gap. I called, remembering their so-called two year guarantee.
Now they searched for the ""valve"" in the air gap. There is no valve in the air gap. They replaced the air gap, with a cap that didn't match the expensive set they had sold me previously. OK, It's still flooding my countertop. ""the guy that installed this kinked the gap."" fixed that, no guarantee, more $$$$.
Now, my expensive sprayer faucet doesn't work, I'm going to have to call another plumber because I no longer trust them.
Don't believe their guarantee, It's non-existent.

Our water main burst unexpectedly (and rather rudely), and we had just a RIVER of water draining out of our sidewalk gutter. (Not to mention the standing water in the side yard that was vaguely reminiscent of a swamp.)

Sarkinen Plumbing came out to look at the issue on a Wednesday afternoon, then sent a crew out that Friday morning.

Y'all. They completely replaced our water mainline and hooked it up to our sprinkler system in under TWO. HOURS.

Was it expensive? I mean, it was a replacement main water line. It was definitely more than I wanted to pay. But was the crew friendly, on-time, professional, and very good at what they do? Also yes.

100% worth the money.

I scheduled a service and got a confirmation stating the texh will arive between 12p-5p. So around 4p I called the company inquiring where the tech is and was told they didn't have an appt in the books for us. I was asked how I scheduled my appt and I mentioned that I did it online as the website stated. Their operator told me that's not the correct way of booking appts and that I have to call to follow up to book an appt. Smh

You just lost a new loyal customer. I would highly recommend on your appt processs and making it more clear for your customers. I wasted half a day waiting on no one to come by.

Backed up sink $399.00. My sink still clogged backup in 3 days. Technician came out to unclog again, Now they Said ""my pipes are clogged with grease"". They want to charge $804 more to unclog it. MY SINK IS STILL CLOGGED!!

They lost our house key, left a mess in the front grass, they were late, they put out their cigars and cigs butts in our driveway, they set up 51 high powered fans in our 1460sq house to dry it out, while a leak from a faucet that they caused dripped on the floor for 4wks. I will never call this company again for anything!

I hope you never have a water leak emergency where you are using buckets and a shop vacuum at the same time. If it happens to you, I hope you can get Carlos from Sarkinen to come. After normal work hours and with stubborn fitting, he found a way to repair the system while explaining every step he was taking

Our water heater went out and Sarkinen Plumbing sent Carlos out to fix the issue. Carlos was great. He kept us informed, put in a new hot water heater and cleaned up the area when he was done. We would have Carlos work on our plumbing in the future.
