Recommended Customer Reviews

I really wish I would have read reviews before I used this company. I have to completely agree with all the comments. Customer service is lacking. The tech came out to my home (very nice) and said the bottom part of my water heater was leaking so it was broken. He told me I would have running water - just cold since the hot water had to be turned off. He called me an hour later saying he forgot to turn on the water but he's 30 minutes away. He walked me through the process of turning on the water outside to not come back.
An hour later I went upstairs to measure out the plywood when I heard running water. I looked up and the pipes he had connected - to avoid water going into the boiler-were leaking at the connection site. Basically he did not tighten the connection & didn't notice since he forgot to turn the water back on and double check his work.
I text him a picture and video so he called and came back to fix it. No problem when he tightened with a wrench. A day later I noticed my garage has huge water damage. Probably in the hour it took for me to go upstairs & measure out things - but thank God I did go up there.
When I call the company the front office employee tells me there was always a leak on top. Really?? LOL. She said she has pictures. I stated I have pictures also that I send to the tech and this is actual running water - like someone turned a faucet on - not a leak from the water heater. I asked who was going to fix the sheet rock in garage and they said they didn't cause it.
Needless to say I do not want them in my home again to potentially cause more damage and not take accountability. I offered to send pictures, the texts with the tech, phone records (7pm & 8pm) of the tech calling me, etc but she said no. I also said "if" this was already there why would he leave it like that after he left? Logically this makes no sense. If this was "already leaking on the top" and it was "fixed" why is your tech calling me twice and after I send a text? Front office employee then gets upset when I say "shit" after basically being called a liar. Sigh. Let's focus on the real issues - water damage. As a customer I have never been this inconvenience. There's no communication since the tech said my warranty company would call me but the company said the contractor was supposed to call me two days prior.
Honestly, it should have been a sign when they never called me initially, I had to call them hours later after it was listed as a priority. I told the secretary my heater wasn't heating so she asked for my address while laughing in the background with coworkers then asks "what's wrong with your heater?" Sigh.

I was very nervous about this company but they did a great job. I had a plumbing issue with my toilet and tub drains. I made a service request through American Home Shield and they picked up my request. They called and asked for more detail about my issue and after talking with them they scheduled to come out the next day. Alex can on time and he was very knowledgeable about my issue, he answered every question I had and even remained professional when he smashed him fingers in the window. Overall, I was satisfied with my visit.

Do not call this company. They are a bunch of liars and crooks. They came to my home caused damage, never completed the job then claimed that they do not service high rises when I contacted them to repair the damage that they caused.
Avoid this company. Take them to court if you've already dealt with them. You can also file a complaint with the Texas Attorney General. This company needs to be put out of business. They are frauds!

If i could give a negative 5 stars i would! I am sharing my experience as a warning so i hope you heed it! I have a home warranty and reported a leak under my kitchen sink. It was a very minor leak. An SAP tech came out to assess the problem and said the leak was coming from the P-trap but he did not have the parts on his truck. Really? A plumber doesn't have standard PVC pipes and supplies on his truck to fix a P-trap??? That should have been my first clue but again this is the plumber that was sent out by American Home Shield. That was a Wednesday and he told me he would be back out the first of the next week to fix it. Again, REALLY? It takes SAP a week to get parts to fix a P-trap! Sign #2 that they don't know what they are doing. So i wait a week and no one contacts me so i call SAP and they said they would get someone out that afternoon but no one showed up. I called the emergency number and got a supervisor who sent the tech out that night. I was appreciative that he was coming out that night. The tech cut out the hard PVC pipe and replaced the P-trap with a cheap cheesy part he picked up from Home Depot. Once again, REALLY!? It was hard pvc before and i expected it to be repaired with the same pvc, not a cheap part from Home Depot. Well that's not the worst part. The tech left and i turned on my dishwasher and the leak was worse than ever! Sent out another tech who was rude and interrupted me every time i tried to talk. He said i needed a DW technician...what plumber cannot fix a DW!??? Use this company at your own risk but i suggest you read all the other reviews. I am not the only one that has had a horrible experience with SAP or that the problem was worse after they left! BEWARE!!!

I won't be able to stress enough in this paragraph how you should avoid this company at all costs. Starting with the Scheduler to the services/work. Absolutely unprofessional, I've had 4 dealings with this company, each time the scheduler messed up the appointment time/date, 4 times every time she messed it up, we have professional jobs, to take off work to wait for service man never to show up and call to find out what's going on, the scheduler simply denies the appointment, I have text messages of us both confirming appointment time, 4 times she did this, the serviceman came out 3 times to fix the same job, third time was a charm I guess. Please do yourself a favor, don't go with S.A.P.

My house has been without hot water for over 4 weeks now. Initially, a technician came out and relit my gas water heaters, and everything was fine.
2 days later, they went out again and I contaced the company to come back out. I was told that the gas control valves needed to be replaced. What followed was a two and a half week period of getting the run around from SAP Home Repair Services on when the parts were arriving and when I could get back on the schedule.
Finally, after all of that, I talked directly with a supervisor and laid out hese issues. She put me on the schedule at the next available time slot, and I thought I would finally have hot water again. The technician arrives, and lo and behold, the parts aren't the right ones. We get put on the schedule the for the next day, and another technician comes out with what are supposed to be the right parts. Not only are they not the right parts, but after this company yanking my chain for almost 3 weeks, I'm being told that the parts for my units aren't even made anymore and they'll need to be replaced entirely; which means waiting, again, to get on a schedule and have my hit water situation taken care of.

I called AHS about a leak and they sent SAP out. Tech showed up promptly but that is about it. Over a week has gone by and keep being told the manager or dispatch will most definitely let you know by COB today. Not a peep out of them. Would not recommend these folks to anyone. By far the least professional contractor I've dealt with.

I had them as a work group for a home repair insurance on my home. Their failures in honesty, professionalism and competency caused me to cancel the insurance. They will use every device and trick to get your money and do not do the work. Avoid them. NEVER sign anything with them.

The only word that comes to mind with this company is awful. They came out to check a water leak and a gas leak on Monday. He couldn't figure out the water leak and said he needed to get with his boss and come up with a game plan and would get back with us "at the latest" on Tuesday. He said he would be able to perform the gas test for us as well, to identify the source, the following day. He left, my husband wasn't impressed at all and decided to start digging around the attic. He found the source of the gas leak and called their company 15 minutes after he left. He asked if the same guy could come out or if someone else was available (gas leak, y'all! Not good) and the receptionist said absolutely and would give us a call back asap. 3 hours later, no call. We called again and were told that they would be in contact with us asap. It is now Friday, no call back, no follow up for the water leak or gas leak, not a single form of communication from them. Glad they were concerned about leaving a gas leak in a house with a family with a young child. I would NEVER recommend them to anyone. Poor customer service, poor follow up, and poor work.

repairman sent by home warranty came out on 10/21 and fixed the leak on the pipe to my water heater. he was very pleasant and efficient. yay! (I believe his name was Doug but not certain.)
