Having had root problems in my duplex rental property sewer lateral for years, I finally decided to fully address the problem. It re-appeared this time on a weekend and I had to pay the premium for getting the drain to flow. I had used Santa Rosa Plumbing a few times in the past but this time they were too busy to provide an immediate response. The company I did call was more expensive and I learned the following weekend that they only punched a whole in the clog which allowed a flow but didn't really clear the drain. However, they did take the opportunity to try and sell a major repair. The second weekend Santa Rosa Plumbing came out and actually cleared the drain. By this time, I was pursuing the best possible repair. I had talked to yet another company to fully check options, but Santa Rosa plumbing turned out to have the best solution, with the best price, and performed promptly. Before retiring, I was a contractor and, from my experience, I was able to generate a number of questions. Kevin and Jim both responded with un-egotistical and accurate answers. One response was, ""I'm unfamiliar with that possibility-but you may be correct"". I was not correct. But I was extremely pleased with his straight talk, and knowledge. I feel fortunate to have them in my rolodex.

As a realtor, I have to be diligent when I refer a company to existing and potential clients. I had the recent pleasure of working with Santa Rosa Plumbing related to a client that was unable to afford the necessary repairs necessary to complete the sale of her property. Steve and his crew came in, did an incredible job at a reasonable rate and without any guarantee of payment defered the invoice until close of escrow. I am unaware of any other company willing to do that. If you have a plumbing need, I cant think of a better company to trust for a great job at a reasonable rate.

I called Jim and explained that one of my rental homes had a back up in the washing machine. It was backing up into the kitchen sink. It was not urgent because it wasn't overflowing once it was in the kitchen sink. It was on Friday and he said he was on overtime. I said again it's not urgent no need to pay overtime. The next week was fine. He then said he could do it over the weekend but it would be overtime. Again I said not urgent. We agreed on between 10-noon on Monday. I arranged for my tenants to be home. I heard from my tenant at 4:30 that he never showed up. I called Monday at 5PM to find out what happened and on Tuesday at 10:30 AM no response. I understand if he got tied up on another job but the professional thing to do is to call.

Excellent work, excellent communication. They replaced 2 old toilets with 2 new low flow toilets via a Sonoma County Water incentive program. I am delighted with my new toilets, and impressed by Octavio's skills and customer service. I am keeping their number in case I have future plumbing needs!!

I've been acquainted with Steve for a long time through mutual friends and Music. We are in the process of buying a new to us house and it needed a new hot water heater installed ASAP. Octavio was on the job and had it done before I could get there from work. The work looked great and was literally half the price of other bids we received. We will be installing a new tub soon and will definitely have Santa Rosa Plumbing back to do the job.
