I hired them for a leaking shower/tub. The scheduler warned me if they couldn't fix it they would charge a $100 for the visit anyway. My wife was home with a newborn and they told her it was fixed and she paid them $265 without checking to verify. When I got home, I realized it wasn't fixed and called them back. They came back and tried to say it was fixed when they left 3 hours earlier and that they would only refund me $40 of the original amount and were rude. To recap - they couldn't fix it (although the next day I got a handyman who could), they lied about fixing it, and they charged more than they said they would for a failed repair.

Marco and his crew are very knowledgeable and honest. We have used these guys for the last ten years and they always get it right. They always give us options of different ways and costs of solving the problem and are quick to point out simple fixes that would be less expensive. We have used them for late night, early morning and ""just before a party"" emergencies as well as the usual things that come up. When there is a clog or no hot water, we always call SMPH. Nora is great at coordinating appointments and getting call backs etc. Great communication. These guys always come through for us. No, we're not related to this company. I'm writing this review because we're using them again this week and the negative reviews are just not and never have been our experience in ten years of working with Marco, Nora and the crew.

My shower handle stopped working and I could not stop the water from coming out. These guys came out, shut off my water and assessed I needed a new handle and cartridge. They quoted me $845 (pic attached) to go get the part and replace. I knew there's was no way it could be that much and told them I would think about it. They were at my house for about 20 mins and charged me $135 to turn off my water and tell me I needed a new handle. I found someone to do the whole job for $120, less than their service call. These guys definitely will rip you off if they can.

We've used SM Plumbing several times, and they are prompt, efficient, and fairly priced. I called yesterday, and today Manny & Rudy came and replaced the entire corroded/leaking pipe system under our kitchen sink inside 2 hours, and swapped out a toilet flapper with one that will conserve water. I'm thrilled to have a neighborhood plumber we can trust!

The responsiveness of this company is incredible. We entered our medical office this Monday morning to find our sink pipe had been leaking, creating a total mess when we had patients to see shortly. Within 30min Manny and Rudy showed up and assessed the leak, ran some diagnostic tests, and determined the cause of the problem as well as an appropriate solution. These two men were tremendously respectful and knowledgeable, making the stressful experience much more manageable. Manny and Rudy knew there stuff and worked promptly to ensure we could have the medical office up and running in as soon as possible. Definitely satisfIed with the services.
