Recommended Customer Reviews

San Marcos Plumbing was very friendly and gave an honest fair quote. They did a good toilet installation. I highly recommend them.

I can't say enough about the customer service I got from the beginning to the end! All of Texas was going through the unexpected snow storm with busted pipes and no supplies for any companies to fix it. We know that most people in Texas were going through the samething or worse, but they always made us feel like we were the only people that mattered.

During this winter weather crisis, our business tried to schedule service with San Marcos Plumbing. The first call I made, I was hung up on. I called back thinking it was a mistake. I quickly explained I'm trying to schedule service for broken pipes in San Marcos. The women said that maybe I need to use a different number and that they don't service us. Then hung up on me again.
We were trying to schedule service for broken pipes to people who have no water right now. I have no idea why someone would be so rude.

I have used San Marcos plumbing for several years and have never been over-charged or misled about repairs. They have installed a water softener and hot water heater for me and made an emergency repair to a broken supply line. They have never talked down to me because I am a woman (my pet peeve, since I am a competent mechanic) or been anything but respectful and friendly. The one time there was a misunderstanding regarding a charge, Victoria made it right. Remember, folks, that being polite and giving people the benefit of the doubt brings the best results.

Great company! Installed our water heater, replaced garbage disposal. Counting on San Marcos Plumbing to install our toilet soon. Thank you!

SAVED the day, more than once. Thank you SM Plumbing for making MOM's house a priority during bad weather conditions. Never was she out of water service until the repair was in progress. Repair was faster than expected. Thank you for removing the concrete covering the water line. Times like these days, hard to find a plumber committed in making the customer stress free over a repair.
update needed: Input for crew saved the direction per our plumbing priority's . Staff on site helped MOM rest easy. She was in good hands. thank you thank you
Did I add, they billed us. Payment no problem, was invoiced & bill - stress free mom

I put off calling a plumber for a while because I thought it was going to be a hassle. I called San Marcos Plumbing and they sent someone out the next day and my problem was solved in under 10 minutes. They are really kind people and trustworthy people who know what they are doing. They would be my first choice for any plumbing issues from now on, I would definitely give them a call!

Did business with this company for the past four years. I had a water heater go out that they installed and they said it was a warranty issue with the company they don't cover the water heater that they installed. Then I was made to feel like they did me a favor over the last four years for doing business with them! They don't stand behind the products that they install. Apparently I'm rude every single time I call. Horrible customer service from the office. I'll go ahead and buy my own water heater and install it. You've lost my business and my respect.

I would not recommend this plumbing company. The men that were sent out from this company were unskilled and seemed lost about how plumbing works in a home.

I have never been treated so rudely. I have a house I am remodeling which I do not live in. I scheduled a video test (for lack of better description) for Friday morning at 9. I forgot about it and the plumber called me at 9:13. I said, oh, I'm glad you called because I forgot about the test. He said I'm not going to be able to do it today because it's raining, I'll come back Monday. I said ok, no problem. Today, Monday, I went to the house in the morning. I was having windows installed as well. They were already at the house. I called (seeing that the plumber was not there and assuming he would call again if he did go) and left a very nice message saying I just want to be sure you all hadn't forgotten about me... I had an appt for Frid, raining, gonna return Mon, etc, etc. Give me a ring, thanks.
So, Katrina I think her name is, calls and says Maam, you weren't there on Friday, I said, I know, he called me. He said he couldn't do the work bc it was raining. I said, did I not give you the combo for the lockbox? She said no, which is possible, but I've had window guys, flooring guys, painters, bathtub refinishers, granite installers, etc and they all had the combo. But, two things,1. I could have easily jumped in my car and run over there or 2. I could have given him the combo. I thought the vid test thing happened at the clean out pipe anyway in which case, I would not be required to go at all! But it could have all been prevented if the plumber had said, I'm here, I need in. No problem. But he said he couldn't do the work for the rain which leads me to believe it would have been conducted at the clean out pipe now that I think about it. I would have gone over there, bc I wanted to talk to him about how we could do the work economically ie could we run new pipes out the walls instead of digging up the slab.
Back to the very rude Katrina, as I explained to her exactly what happened, she continued to interrupt and say that the work didn't happen bc I wasn't there. Not what the plumber told me - that he couldn't do the job in the rain. We set up an appointment for 9 tmrw, and then I said, I just want to be clear that the plumber said he couldn't do the work because of the rain, that I would have driven over if he needed and she said: MAAM I THINK YOU NEED TO FIND ANOTHER COMPANY TO DO THE WORK. Really? How hateful and God awful. I'm so sick of people being nasty. Then she hung up on me.
I will say, the plumber was perfectly nice the first time I spoke with him. I called to tell him what happened with this woman. He said he would have to look into it. I'm not sure that was the right answer. At any rate, I will remove this post with a sincere apology from Katrina. That was so uncalled for on her part. What a hideous human being.
