We had some old plumbing that was both leaking and unnecessarily complicated. Giovani came out the day after I called and fixed it up beautifully. Very nice guy and great to work with. I will definitely call him again anytime I have plumbing issues.

Our kitchen sink was no longer draining, which means we cannot wash dishes and prepare food. We called at about 11 am and they offered same day 1-3 pm. They came at 1 pm and rooted the whole drain pipe. Wonderful! It now drains well.

Giovanni and his helper installed a brand new Bradford water heater at our home towards on December 24th 2019. We had called them back due to a potential faulty part. Giovanni came at the earliest available opportunity, spent time looking at all possible fault areas and identified the part which was problematic. He also picked up the replacement part from Bradford store directly and came back and reinstalled the part, re-drained the heater and made sure everything worked as it is supposed to work
He definitely stood behind his work and did not charge for labor for the 2 extra visits he had to make. I really appreciated his sense of commitment and ethics
I also had Giovanni install our shut off water valve. I will gladly hire Giovanni for any future plumbing work. He really know his stuff and I have no hesitation in recommending for any plumbing work

This is my second time using San Jose Drain and Main. Once again they impressed me with their response and ability to execute as quickly as they did.

Our water heater and water softener died on us on a Sunday, the day before we went into the ""Shelter in Place"". I immediately called San Jose Drain and Main. However knowing they were closed on Sunday, I left a message. They called me at 8AM on Monday morning and set up a time to come out check out the issue. Giovani came out, verified I needed to replace both.

With the whole shelter in place I was worried, I would struggle going around finding a new water heater and softener. Giovani said, he had me covered and said he could get me both.

I asked when he thought he could come back to install and he said with the circumstances of the ""Shelter in Place"" and schedule. He thought the best he could do was by the end of the week. To my surprise, I got a text the next morning from Giovani, saying he could come by around 2PM to do the work. He showed up and and by 8PM, he had our new hot water heater and softener / filter, installed and most importantly, hot water again.

Giovani is a smart guy who knows the real value his business could bring to his customer. His response is always prompt so you can trust he is always there; his price is competitive so you might feel being delighted; his work is a solution not just fulfilling an agreement. I ordered a water heater from Home Depot online which was found faulty when the box opened. When I was struggling in negotiating with Home Depot and learned that it's not a free shipping to switch a good one in local Home Depot, Giovani offered to do the changes for me. I was surprised that this problem could be quickly solved by an installer!

Our kitchen sink was clogged since last Friday. We tried to snake the drain ourselves but it didn't work! I messaged them through yelp during my lunch time and they were quick to respond. They quoted me $150 to unclog the drain (that's what the other companies quoted me also) and said they could come today! I came home and the gentleman, Jovaire, was waiting for me already. He was pleasant and he got the job done! It took him 45 mins. They said there's a 30 day warranty if it clogs again that they will come out and do it for free (as long as you're not throwing food down the drain ). I would definitely call them again if I have anymore issues!

Another great job by Giovani today! He replaced our leaky 1962 bathtub spout and faucet with a great modern fixture. That's a job that requires cutting into the tile and putting a plate over the opening and can end up really ugly, but he is fussy and particular in the best ways and made it look as good as it could. He even got us a spout with a handheld shower diverter that will make a big difference helping our sons with special needs in the bath.

He's professional, meticulous, and just a really nice guy. We will be calling him again soon for our bnext project.
