I found these guys through Monterey Park Life Facebook group. Someone had referred them. We had a garbage disposal problem so I texted Mike and he answered back right away. To my surprise, he showed up 10 minutes later with a coworker and they fixed the garbage disposal within 20 minutes. Also, as I watched them wrap up I notice they took the time to throw trash away and wipe down my sink! Professional for sure!

Pricing was very reasonable and they Mike was friendly and easy to talk with. Def my trusted and go to plumber from now on!

As a 30-year homeowner, I have met all types of plumbers: good, bad, ugly, dishonest and flaky. San Gabriel Valley Plumbers sets the gold standard -- super responsive, conscientious, thorough and upfront. I was referred to them by a neighbor last year, and they initially impressed me with their punctuality and work ethic. When our ancient hot water tank exploded, they recommended that we go tankless, referring me to Plumbing Wholesale Outlet, who walked us through the whole process. Yesterday, Javier and Michael installed the unit, and we couldn't be more satisfied. They even went through the house and cleaned mineral deposits from our faucets and shower heads as a courtesy. We appreciate that they also explained all of the details for the new unit, and that the price for installation was exceedingly fair. Much respect and many thanks.

I was doing a bathroom renovation and a pipe sprung a leak. Called San Gabriel Vally Plumbing and they came out same day. The plumbers that came out were nice, got the job done fast, and swapped out another part that was still working but was kinda old. Super helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. Will definitely call them again for any plumbing needs!

Tried Youtube ways to unclog toilet--didn't work this time. SGVP called back within minutes as promised in their phone message. Javier and Michael arrived as scheduled. Toilet had to be moved and a motorized hose was cranked into the bathroom floor hole. When done (OMG in less than one hour), of course the flush was good again, but more so, my once wobbly toilet was set tight and caulked. Asked and answered they weren't in rush to next appointment, so...the bathtub's dripping faucet (no more bucket needed), my other bathroom's shower faucet (stuck and disabled for months), my wobbly kitchen faucet that I couldn't get under the sink to tighten up. Everything back to working order YAY! Paid 2 hours plus parts.

Bob and his assistant are so nice, responsible and professional. They did excellent and amazing jobs for replacing my water main and added water regulator. Highly and absolutely recommend. A++

These guys are not fully equipped. Needed a drain snaked but they could not tell if the snake was going the right direction. Instead of putting a video camera down (which is mentioned in their ""things they can do"") they have you call another company to do it. Now you have two different companies at your home which then of course doubles up your total bill. They did fix the problem, but it cost twice as much. Learned a lesson here.

I've been meaning to write this review for a long time. I have an old house and a rental house and the guys at SGVP are my ""go to"" plumbers for at least 10 years.
They have great communication. Call backs happen within 10 minutes. The men are always professional and clean-up after themselves.
They take their time to explain the repairs and what is needed. They have never ever ""mansplained"" or talked down to me.
This latest project was that I needed a line installed for a new fridge. They took care of it and were in and out within an hour.

Stopped Up Toilet and Shower
OMG! what a mess I had, I called them late on a Sunday night and they arrived first thing in the morning when they said they would. It took them less than an hour to clean out the pipe.
They were so courteous, professional and very affordable. I have them on speed-dial now when I need help with plumbing again.

You call them and they will respond almost right away. I needed a new water heater and they installed it ahead of their schedule because I was in a hurry, and it was done well and neatly. Everything worked except an old plumbing issue that had nothing to do with their work, but they came back and fixed it without additional charge anyway. This is going above and beyond! I am very impressed and will recommend them to anyone who need timely and reliable plumbing services. Good people.

If I could give Javier and Michael more stars, I would. I was referred by a friend and gave them a call. I found a pinhole leak in one of my pipes underneath the crawl space of my home. It had been raining all week and I thought that it might have been the rain. Then today when it stopped raining I still heard the faint sound of the water spraying out from the pipe.

I called a few places and two companies showed up. One was a guy from Plumbing Bros., the other was Javier. Plumbing Bros. showed up first.
Sean from PB said that he couldn't do it because the area was too muddy and I needed to get a damage restoration company out first and dry up everything before he can do any work on Monday. So then I thanked him for coming out and called Javier back and said that I don't think you should come out if what Sean said was true about the damage restoration company coming out first. Although I was disappointed in what Sean said, Javier ended up saving the day.

Javier said let me take a look at it first and actually called me back after we hung up and said that he can show up earlier.

He arrived to assess the leak and said that it isn't that bad and that he can replace the pipe, no problem. He and Michael got the job done pretty quickly and I forgot that I had a stuck bathroom drain as well and the guys took care of it. These guys are true pros. They cleaned up all work areas and were happy and polite to answer all my questions. They also gave me a reasonable quote for a job I'm considering. Anyways, my experience with them has been really great, considering it was a Saturday and most plumbers would probably charge extra which I understand.

Thank you Javier and Michael, I won't hesitate to recommend you guys to everyone I know and know who to call if I have any plumbing issues.
