I called with a non-emergency drain cleaning and, within an hour, Marino was at my door. He was knowledgable, experienced and beyond thorough, spending more time that I expected to make sure the drains were clear;
and charged LESS that what was a very reasonable quote given over the phone. He made recommendations for alleviating potential problems and said that if his service did not fully take care of the problem, he would discount a high pressure clean-out. I recommend him highly over all the other services that I have ever had to use in the past.

My finicky drain backs up at least once a year requiring me to hire a plumber to snake the line. I sent a request for bids through yelp. I received several bids but only San Diego Drain Cleaning and one other company gave me an immediate, written estimate, per my request. The other company's fee was 3x the bid from SD Drain Cleaning soooo I did not use them.
Other bidders wanted to come out and ""look at the job"" before giving me a price quote. Because these clogs happen somewhat frequently, I know exactly what the problem is and approximately how much it should cost to repair. San Diego Drain Cleaning provided a reasonable quote, and had someone at my house within 30 minutes to take care of the issue. I appreciate the fact that I did not have to waste my time waiting for a technician to come ""look at the job""only to be turned away if the bid would've been too high.
I highly recommend this company And will use them again if/when I have the need.

Marino and team came out same day to jet our drain all the way to the sewer main and inspect it with a camera. We got to watch the inspection before and after showing all the roots that it blasted out. Excellent work, definitely recommend!

My wife dropped her earring down the bathroom sink, and the plastic P-trap was badly stuck to the point that I couldn't deal with it myself. I put in a call for quotes through Yelp, and Marino was one of the first to reply. He offered a fair flat rate estimate. He arrive on time (within less than 1h of our initial contact), and had detached the P-trap, cleaned it, rescued the earring, and reattached everything in good working order within another 45 min. He was professional, courteous, and efficient. I certainly plan to go to SD Train Cleaning if/when any other issues arise.

I am about to use a number of words that are not often associated with one-and-other...
Fair... Honest... Courteous... Polite and wait for it: Plumber!

Yesterday my drains completely stopped working. I had a massive plug in my main sewer line. Last night I had a plumber/scam artist come to my house and lie, try to upsell me and to get me to pay for services I didn't need. Fortunately, I know enough not to be bamboozled by these yo-yo's so I sent them packing.

This morning, however, was completely different. Mariano from San Diego Drain Cleaning came and fixed my problem, he was quick, courteous and punctual. He provided me with me with a very fair estimate and went above and beyond the call of duty to water jet out my sewer lines. Seriously, the guys the night before were almost 5X more expensive!!! Not only did Mariano clear the blockage, he pressure washed my entire sewer line 127 feet, down 80 feet of driveway, out to the middle of the street and then down until he hit the City's main sewer lines. This was a thorough, complete and honest job!

I rarely write yelp reviews but I felt the need to write this review because I am so thankful for the service this company provided. We returned from being out of town and discovered we had a main line sewer block which was causing all of our plumbing to backup. We were desperate for help but it was late on Saturday night. I put out a call for help on yelp and Marino was the only one to respond and was willing to help. He showed up at my door within 30 minutes with a great attitude and ready to get to work. Within 10 minutes he had diagnosed the problem and 30 minutes later the line was clear. It is rare to get this kind of service so I am extremely impressed with the level of service from this company. If you have a plumbing issue don't hesitate even once to call Marino for help. You will be glad you did.
