Even though I didn't end up using Sam (due to the building needing insurance beforehand...plumbing problem was to replace a shower cartridge), he was responsive, punctual (arrived in the time he gave), and courteous. I reached out to him because a pipe was redirecting water to outside our home. He was the first to reply on yelp and came the same day. He explained to me what happened and what I should do to prevent it from happening again. He fixed the issue right away. He also fixed another issue we had in the bathroom while he was here. Charged a very reasonable amount and answered every question I threw at him. (Which was a lot)

An old drainpipe in the cellar of my building cracked and I called several 5 star plumbing companies all of which answered my calls 2 days prior to
Thanksgiving. Sam was the only plumber who identified two cracked pipes rather than the one cracked pipe the others had identified.

All the plumbers warned me they would have to go either through the floor or the walls off the apartment above the pipe. Sam sent two men to repair the pipes. They repaired them within one day at a reasonable price in one day without needing to go through either the wall or the floor. Great work at a reasonable price performed in a timely manner. Highly recommend!

I have an old style 3 knob tub/shower. The hot water knob didn't shut off. Most plumbers I called wanted to rip out the wall and replace the whole thing. I found Sam here on Yelp. Sam stocks parts for these older systems! He came right away, replaced the part. Cleaned up. Shower works great again. Wore a mask. Really pleasant to deal with. No plumber is cheap anymore, but he saved me $$$ by fixing rather than replacing! He will be my first call from now on.
