Ok so a few things:

After the Home Depot special I realized that our system needed a replacement. We ended up going with a heat pump. The original quote was quite high but after shopping around we got the system for nearly half of our original quote.

Their base models are day and night and I was told by competitors that it was and inferior brand (as compared to Lennox) however after looking at consumer reports night and day rates much higher.

The install was relatively easy and they fixed any damage caused during install.

The reception staff was responsive and got out techs quickly and had good availability (mind you this happened in the winter so their low season).

The sales staff was PUSHY it was the reason I took off a star.

But so far my system is far superior to my previous one and is whisper quite.

Same Day Heating & Air lives up to their word to their customer. They guarantee that if the HVAC system they installed doesn't work to the customer's satisfaction, they will replace the whole unit if need be.

The heat pump unit they installed worked great cooling during the summer, but not so great heating this winter (heated air was barely lukewarm). Failing to adjust the heat output and a long lead time to get a replacement part, Same Day decided to replace the outdoor heat pump system.

Big thanks to Jamie Albrecht (Lead Installer) for coming out this week to remove and replace the system. Jamie was great - showed up on time, r&r the heat pump in about 2 hours, verified the A/C and heat outputs were to spec, and left the work area spotless.

I am very happy with Same Day and Jamie's service.

I would like to thank and commend SAME DAY HEATING, COOLING for the excellent service they provided in trouble shooting; estimating repair cost of the furnace; and the replacement and installation of a new dutwork system for the whole house.

The process involved:
1. ADRIAN checking and analyzing the health of my 20 year old 90,000 BTU furnace and giving me recommendations and cost to repair the defective parts
2.TONY giving me the best price to replace the furnace and remove old/ install new ductwork
3.MOISES AND WILLY installing the new furnace and ductwork and calibrating the system with my existing smart thermostat.
The whole process was done within schedule while ensuring all debris were removed and garage cleaned.

THE NEW SYSTEM IS WORKING LIKE A CHAMP with NO ISSUES.
I FULLY RECOMMEND SAME DAY HEATING AND COOLING TO ANYONE WHO NEEDS TO HAVE HVAC WORK DONE !

Property manager here in San Diego. Have a gas leak in an outdated wall heater that needs replacing ASAP with an updated split system. The owners live in a different country and I'm currently out of town. This company literally did not want my business because a person with ""purchasing power"" wouldn't be at the house during inspection *RED FLAG* Bad business Same day hearing and air, I will gladly go elsewhere.

P.S. After going through a lot of the reviews they look bought and paid for. Lots of fakies going on in there. Beware!!

This company is #1..outstanding! From the time I called, to the completion of my installation...there was open communication, emails, calls..I always knew what was going on..they were on top of it all! I
liked that a picture of the technician was sent to me prior their arrival.....
The technician, Donald, was phenomenal! He did a diagnostic on my furnace...it was old...and not in good shape. Donald was very detailed and took his time explaining things to me, as well as, showing me pictures..I did not feel pressured or rushed..He cared about the situation and came up with solutions...he was proactive in helping me make the right decisions...

both AC units and furnaces were old and having issues so I asked about best option for replacement. Got two new heat pumps to replace the AC units and two new furnaces. They recommended a dual fuel system which I didn't know anything about but I'm very happy. They informed me of my options and choices. Toni, Art and Steve were the technicians that helped me and they all were very informative and professional and did a wonderful job to get this installed within two days before the end of the year to get me additional discounts. highly recommend this company for any installation or maintenance services. I am a member with them because they do such a fast and professional job.

The technician came out and informed me the heat exchanger was bad and needed to be replaced. The estimate was $4,800. I thought that was crazy. A brand new furnace is $1520 and $139.99 for the propane kit. And that's for a higher, 96%, efficiency furnace. Charging three times the price of a new better furnace just to replace a heat exchanger is disreputable. I got a second opinion from someone local. He said the reason the heat exchanger was overheating was there were too many vents closed! Don't trust these people. The heater works fine now the vents are open

Had an old furnace that was on its last legs for months. First called Same Day because it is a locally owned company. The technicians were incredibly knowledgable and helpful towards diagnosing and solving the challenges that invariably arise with older HVAC systems. My guys Brandon and Donald in particular, went above and beyond.

And it was an old furnace (20+ years), so when the time finally came to replace it, I was confident Same Day was the outfit to do it. Tony was helpful in identifying exactly what was needed, and Jeff & Moises exceeded expectations on the install and vent sealing.
