Our bathroom shower lost pressure. I called another plumber earlier to fix but he wasn't successful. Representative from Sam Rooter and Plumbing was very efficient and quick to fix this problem. In addition he changed the kitchen faucet which had a major build up. He was able to quickly cut it and replaced with a new faucet. He was very efficient and friendly.

I'm incredibly disappointed in this unethical company and sorry to say they have lost our business permanently. We have used this company for years for our primary home as well as our businesses and rental properties. We were in an emergency plumbing situation late at night and had to hire someone who completely damaged our shower. We called Sam's the very next day hoping they could help. Rather than being someone we could trust with reasonable solutions, all we experienced was manipulating us into a bigger job through a combination of SCARE TACTICS and SALES TACTICS.
His company charged us for a service call to come out and change our valve and then did absolutely nothing for us. When they arrived they said we had the wrong part and wouldn't install the set we bought from home depot. Fine, we ordered the Moen PosiTemp they insisted on but they also wanted us to patch the hole up before their plumber did the install. When we finally had the glazing guy come out, he said he needed the plumbing to be done first. This company insisted that we need to have the wall patched up before the plumbing when logically that makes zero sense. We don't want to repair the wall until the plumbing is done CORRECTLY despite Sam's stubbornness and lack of basic logic.
I am not happy they had charged us $109 for a useless service call to come out and do NOTHING. They left us in a bind because they didn't want to work on the tub wall until it was repaired. How about when you are hired to install plumbing before tile work gets done? Double standard and plain stubbornness and arrogance from Sam. It's convenient he doesn't seem to know fiberglass patching is waterproof and just wants to manipulate us into tearing out the entire tub (NOT just the damaged wall). What a mess that would have been for us, but all he cares about is $3600 in his pocket. Actually Home Depot sells 3 piece enclosures just to replace the shower walls, sparing the tub, which he also refused to do. He wanted the WHOLE thing out. That just proved to me he wanted to take advantage of our tough position and get the max amount from us. Totally obvious scam and ploy to get more money. We won't be recommending them to anyone.

*Update
We were able to hire a different licensed plumber who only took ONE HOUR to resolve the issue. He was able to use the existing hole in the wall whereas Sam's guy said he needed to make another hole from the outside that we would have to pay even more for someone to do that repair too. This other plumber had no problem installing the new valve perfectly. He couldn't understand why Sam had issues with our job.
Also the fiberglass patcher had no problem waterproofing the shower. FYI Sam, Fiberglass is used for BOATS..it's waterproof. By the way, you can see the scare tactics used by Sam in his response. Unethical way to get a bigger job for yourself claiming you need to tear out a whole tub.

Please do yourself a favor and go with someone you can trust not to manipulate you into a bigger job just to get more $.
My problem was solved and warrantied for a fraction of what he wanted to charge.

I thought this was a good honest company but they are not. I have multiple properties and have used them before on smaller and easier jobs such as clearing out drains. However, when I called them to replace a bathroom fixture and valve, they were completely inadequate. They offered a solution that ended up being completely useless and wasted precious time or wanted us to pay more than $3,600 to replace the entire shower. Other than that, they wanted to blame the previous plumber, which is a complete cop out. Overall very disappointed with their competence and level of service. They were also very rude over the phone. I have never written a negative review before but feel compelled to do so now. If you have a small job, you can roll the dice but would not contact them on moderate/difficult jobs.

My friend had some issues with having a valve broken in his sink and the water was leaking out. It was after six pm and we were calling around. We called this company and they were able to send someone out within an hour. They were very professional and gave me a big sense of relief knowing that the water was knit going to leak everywhere.

For the third time, Sam and his crew have fixed my drains perfectly! And Beto, today, cleaned up after himself and my kitchen and restroom looked just like it did when he arrived - clean. Very impressed as he took his time doing the job and answered my many questions. I strongly suggest you support the small town family-owned business as his rates are competitive and he is 100% reliable!
If I could give six stars, I would.

THEY SAVED OUR LIVESSSS. Im so thankful to Sam for answering the phone line and Christian was so helpful and friendly and came to our assistance immediately. We called at 6pm for an emergency plumbing issue and they arrived by 745. The whole ordeal was handled quickly and professionally. We will definitely be returning to them for any plumbing/installation needs.

My kitchen sink was backed up and does so from time to time. Everytime I have a plumber come out, they snake it for around $100 but clogs again after a few months. I wanted to see if there was a better solution so I started getting quotes for descaling. I called a guy out and they quoted me close to $2000 with a discount to descale my kitchen drain. I found similar pricing at other places. I called Sam and he came out unclogged the drain, descaled, etc for less than $400. They did a great job, timely and sink is draining great. I'm so happy I found Sam!

I had a pin-hole water leak on a Sunday.

The initial response was immediate.
This was the only place who gave an estimate with just a picture.
All other places had to send someone for even a ballpark estimate.

A plumber came out on the same day.
The job was thorough.
The price was less than what I experienced from other places previously.

The plumber had to leave for a couple of hours during our job.
But he honestly told me that he had to go back to repair a leak from the earlier job he did in the morning.

I strongly recommend this place.
