THE PLUMBER: I was blessed today by getting the best , most knowledgeable plumbing specialist Hector from Sam Jolly plumbing. I hope they know the amazing all around worker they have with Hector. He came here and was super knowledgeable, great work ethic and so personable. He did his job beyond expectations. He is from the mold of the years i grew up in where you are honest and hard working and make people feel like they have known you for 20 years. I cant say enough and hope he gets the accolades he deserves with his employers because he gives Sam Jolly Plumbing a great face to the public. Thanks ! THE SAM JOLLY MANAGEMENT follow up: 8/1/2024 - I was however not too happy with the pricing of the 1 pipe bypass costing $5900+. I never really got to speak to anyone other than hector about the pricing. Every time Hector consulted with his boss it was out in the truck and every time I tried to call I got the same """"He will call you back"""" biz. I escalated it to the Service finance company, they attempted for a few weeks to contact the Sam Jolly boss and never could get in touch so I ended up paying and waited til I finished paying that fee before adding to this review. I was happy with Hector's work although I ended up with the cost of repairing four huge holes in my closet and hallway. The communication with Sam Jolly as a whole though for me and the finance company's attempts to talk to anyone about the cost concerns were a joke. Since then I have spoken with other plumbers and they gave their opinion that the pricing was a ripoff. I appreciate the work Hector did but I will stay far from this plumbing company in the future.

We just had a wonderful job done by our service technician Kameron on Monday (2/26/2024). He was prompt, knowledgeable, experienced and courteous. However, when I re-read the invoice, I noticed it stated that we had the """"Main Shut Off Valve On Exterior Above Ground"""" replaced. The fact is that we had the Shut Off Valve to the water heater replaced. $882 was just too much for the replacement of an inside valve. I know it was a little over 12 years ago, but when Sam Jolley's replaced both the same valve and the entire water heater, the whole job only cost $740! Anyway, I sent my concern twice to Sam Jolley's Plumbing via their email address ([email protected]) and never received a response. Just for the record, we have used Sam Jolley's Plumbing since 2001 and had always been satisfied with their excellent work and reasonable prices. Unfortunately, nothing remains the same and we will have to find a different plumber for our future needs.

Service is great if you can afford them. I paid almost $800 to replace the wax seal and plastic rim around the base of the toilet. It took 2 guys and less than 1/2 hour of work. Have to say they did a good job but it cost me way too much.

This review isn't based on work done, but on work not done and the lack of interest in doing it. I understand that plumbers need to deal with emergencies first and can't always show up exactly when promised, however my experience withSam Jolley's sets a new bar for low expectations, especially for a company that claims to have high standards that match its pricing. I made a morning call about a toilet that had small amount of water coming out of the bottom and was told that someone would be at my house between 1 and 5. When I called at 4:50, I was told that the plumber was delayed until 6:30. At that point I suggested that since it wasn't an emergency, the visit could be done first thing in the morning. I had originally scheduled with Danica, but now Joseph was working with me and said that Alex would be there between 9 and 10 a.m. 10a.m., and no plumber, I called and Joseph said I was now assigned to Cameron who would arrive in an hour and a half. When I asked what happened I got involved in the biggest run around from him and Danica which was sitcom worthy. I didn't laugh. They obviously don't need my business. I used another plumber, you should choose wisely.

Sam Jolley charged us $464 to change the fluid master and the flapper. Both parts cost less than $50. It took the plumber less than 10 minutes to complete the job. The work was well done and the employees are very helpful. I just feel the repair price was way too much.

We had a smell in our bathroom and wanted to have the toilet removed to check. Their employee convinced us that the smell was behind the wall. We proceeded to remove a piece of the wall, but found no smell. He concluded that we would need a smoke test. We were charged $1,474 for the opinion. Our building performed the smoke test with their own plumber. The smell was coming from the toilet (wax seal). We actually paid for more problems because of the opinion. Jolley Plumbing justified the cost based on hours worked at $500/hr.

We thought we had a """"minor"""" issue and called Sam Jolly's for service late Friday morning. Scott came around 2 pm and , and had to call for reinforcements about 1 hour later. Michael joined him and together they fixed our issues after about 4 hours. They worked hard and were extremely professional. We highly recommend this company.

I highly recommend Sam Jolley's Plumbing. I was very satisfied with the professional and cordial service given by their staff. Joe Beyer came to my house twice, he took his time to explain everything and answer all my questions. On his 2nd visit he was accompanied by Tony and Anthony. They were all professional in their service to me and my house.

We wanted to move our bidet toilet supply lines up above the baseboard. It would require cutting out the drywall and moving the plumbing lines and soldering. We had previously done two other bathrooms and the price was under $600. We also asked that new brass plumbing fixtures be changed out. The technician studied the brass Kohler fixtures for 15 minutes. Red signal to me. He then proceeded to give me a $4400 price for """"non-members"""" and then a $3900+ price for """"members"""". I said no thanks. Best price ? around $2900. [I cannot remember the exact numbers but these are close.] I spoke to the owner who didn't budge. Another plumbing company with a great reputation quoted me $700 or less. This is what I expected. BEWARE THIS COMPANY. Always ask how many hours to do the job and divide into the quote...... I would give them ZERO STAR rating.
