Brett was our technician. He was professional, courteous, and knew his stuff. He didn't try to sell us things we didn't need or ask for. We needed work on our smoke & carbon monoxide alarms throughout our house and to install a whole house surge protector. Everything went as we expected and will definitely use Salt for our electrical needs.

This was the first time I used SALT, and I was extremely pleased. I selected them because of great reviews from others in my Home Owners group and I was not disappointed. They were prompt, wearing masks, and installed 2 outdoor light fixtures and replaces several outlets that needed it. Thanks to Matt and Scott - I will definitely call them again.

I paid the $79.00 for the service call but their bids for minor work and for a new box were double the quotes we had already received. But very nice men.

I just requested one simple light to be installed and these guys actually tried to upsell me into recessed lighting for $3,500. With the $79 service fee and the light installation, it ended up being $210 for one pendant light to be hung. What a joke.

Nice guys but bad service. Be aware their drive up charge will not be included in an work charge - it is extra. Even a simple job of replacing an out side photo cell for tree lights (30-minutes of work) they charged a "standard" minimum job fee of $400. Turned out they did it wrong. They had to come back out - they sent a different guy who corrected the problem - but this cost me 2 extra hours out of my office. On top of that the second guy tells me the work the first guy did was "wrong": he should have replaced 2 junction boxes (too old). So I told second guy go ahead and do it now. He said he can't I have to schedule a new trip at $400 more. I call customer service manager and he didn't care. Very bad service in the end.

No doubt about it, SALT hit a GRAND SLAM out at our house! We bought a house about 3-4 years ago that had some seriously amateur DIY electric work done inside... We made the sellers update the unsafe areas before we purchased, but over the next few years we found a ton more unsafe and improperly wired areas in the home. I finally bit the bullet and called SALT to come out and fix all the problems I had discovered and install a bunch of updates we had been wanting. Cody and Brett came out to the place. Take this to the bank: they were HANDS DOWN the BEST service professionals we have had out at our home. No lie, Cody and Brett are an All-Star dream team from the electrician A leagues. In the few years since we bought the home we have had numerous plumbers, electricians, painters and other contractors out. Cody, Brett and the SALT team showed up and delivered non-stop, electric, in-your-face amazing customer service and value for the price. Don't believe me? Here's why: from the first phone call I got an incredibly helpful lady on the line who quickly booked me an appointment right away. Bingo bango. Then, Cody and Brett - the dynamic duo from Zeus's lightning bolt in Olympus showed up ON TIME. BINGO. BANGO. Throughout the entire engagement they were courteous, professional and well-spoken. They ensured all my questions were answered before quoting me a totally fair price and getting to work. Listen yall: they even put up with my barking 100lb puppy. They could have just asked me to put him outside or lock him up, but they took 10 minutes to befriend the beast. No kidding, this dog turned a page due to Cody and Brett's dedication to making the customer as comfortable and happy as possible. Just true heroes. Speaking of dogs... Cody and Brett are the Cat's MEOW. No joke - super nice, super professional. They had only good things to say about their company and the owners (which to me is a rarity these days.) Another huge win. When the work was finished, it looked amazing. Clean work - clear attention to detail. In the attic, outside, inside, driveway, side of the house; they moved like silent, electrician ninjas with reverent respect for their location and their precision work. They installed outlets on my exterior, installed new lighting in the living room, fixed about 10 fire hazards we didn't even know we had. All in all, no way I will ever use another company for electric work in our home. SALT - thanks to you, Cody and Brett. Yall have gained a customer for life. Total slam dunk, we couldn't be happier!

We needed an electrician to perform a diagnostic service on a line fault. After agreeing to a $72 service call, a person was sent out to do a "30-point inspection" and an upsell on GFCI plugs, surge protectors and the like and did not perform any serious diagnostic services. Diagnostics would be an additional $750 (it appears the salespersons/electricians have a list of prices, you'll get quoted "options" with upsell in your "proposal" for service. (I pity elderly folk who might get suckered into buying lengthy "service plans" etc, when they just need a repair done). Of course, there was no one back at the home office to hear my complaint that I paid $79 for an at home sales call. Though I did receive a 'complimentary' refund of my $79, I'm so disappointed that I would be suckered into such a time suck. Im also going to be far more careful about going with Google reviews. Clearly something here is amiss. (But if this sounds like a five star experience to you, then this is the electrical service to go with.)

My property manager in Austin hired SALT and they charge $79 just to come out for 10 minutes. Then they provided me with an invoice that had absolutely highway robbery pricing. I think they charge about twice as much as someone more competitive I found. Don't waste your time.

Should have checked YELP first! Be cautious to not be misled. I was told on the phone that you pay by project and not by hourly or materials along with separate trip charge. I was good with it. Gentlemen showed up, I explained the problem that the oven hood light kept shorting and one wasn't working. They quoted me a price to fix...half way through they showed me problem was that the light units had some issues but then told me the quote didn't include the parts to actually fix the problem. I said the reason I signed off on the project was everything should be working when completed. I even tried to give them a win-win solution by asking for trip charge refund and would pay the separate quote which was higher than trip charge. Their sales manager refused...so to yelp it is and any other social media forum to educate people to not to trust what their appointment person says.

I would give negative star if i could. Said they would come between noon and 4 p.m. a window that kept me home all afternoon. Then they did not get there until 4:30. Order was for hanging a 40 to 50 lb chandelier in a condo dining area. They said I needed to replace the plastic box with a metal one. They said to do that and hang it would take about an hour. Their estimate was for over $700. But if I joined some membership it would be about $100 less. I ended up having to pay them $80 to come and tell me that. The other electrician I had called charges by the hour at $125 per hour plus $80 service fee. How stupid do I feel? Plus during a pandemic they walked all around saying they needed to take photos, which was creepy, in case I said they did something wrong. They required my CVC security code on my Visa, which I have never had a service person do. Maybe this was a one-off bad experience but not likely.
